Hairdresser reacts to girls going red to blonde and blonde to red! Tabitha: I went from Blonde to what I thought was red turned out it was dark pink (Artic foxes Vixen also it kept staining my towel even after washing my hair multi times such a pain) I tried bleaching it out ended up looking lie a freaking candy cane, went and died it a violet color box dye that was horrifying and faded WAY too quickly, died it burgundy boxed dye and that held up way better, that faded out and went back to blonde again twice trying to get red out. (Getting red out with a box blonde hair dye is a pain in the butt. And if I was working at the time and could afford to get the blue powder and stuff I would have gone that route) The clue is if you go any color at all go with the blue powder and stuff if you have the money for it and its way easier to boot too.

people who go blonde just think oh i should go red and then they're like oh i hate everything about this. lmao, i totally bounce between red/orange and blonde. i love both. but a lot of times in the summer i prefer blonde and the winter i go orange/red. always professionally done, and they're spaced out months and months apart so the transition usually isn't too hard for my sylist. lol.

I used to work at a hairsalon and I worked with vitamin c powder a few times. In my experience it only works with really fresh colored hair. It already works less when its been like a few hours since coloring. We sometimes used it to correct colors that became too dark after toning for example. Dont think it will work on someone who colored their hair like weeks ago.

I'm so happy that Gabby didn't immediately throw bleach on her hair and she attempted other methods first, I also would've suggested hair colour removal for the stubborn darker red parts and it would've evened everything out with the rest of the hair that's what I did when I removed red from my hair, she looks so good as a blonde BTW like wow

The only thing Im going to say is that I have bought Sally Beauty Demi permanent dye like suggested and my hair is way more dry and flat looking than when I use my regular box dye permanent hair dye. My hair is Very shiny and smooth and dimensional color with my box dye and thats what Im sticking to. I have medium brown hair.

Yeah. red to blond is not easy. My brother was a natural red head and it was dark. He would routinely have my mom bleach his hair. And she got GOOD! She turned it white!
It wasn't until recently that I realized how hard that was lol. I thankfully have never had the urge to dye mine red from my natural blond

Im a natural strawberry blonde (medium) and I love going coppery red.
I think its because everyone else in my family is a brunette and they insist ongoing blonde (and then claiming that theyre natural blondes.
My hair HOLDS red color until I chop it off. I still have red from two years ago.

I used an ash dye and turned my roots green. The vitamin c method really does work but you have to leave it on 45 minutes to an hour. Best mixed with clarifying shampoo but dish soap does work too. Also put a cap over your hair so it doesn't dry out. MAKE A VIDEO TESTING IT OUT!

I've never done the vitamin c thing but I believe is just useful for colors that get off easily and it can be useful when you are going to retouch the colour. this way u don't get a hyperpigmented hair. but a bleach bath would be faster and much more efficient

i dyed my hair red with semi permanent hair dye like over 6 months ago it has obviously faded and grown out but there is def still red in my hair. i had previously used that same brand to dye my hair purple and it washed out within weeks. why?

In 2017 I used pink splat hair dye and it steadily bled EVERYWHERE my pillows were stained, shirts, my friend's shower, etc. But somehow it would never wash out! It was faded but I couldn't get it out (even with bleach) for over a year.

I went from a platinum blonde to a cherry red had that for a few months then I just ended up dying it brown and it actually looked really good but I was in 7th so and honestly I can NEVER do blonde again it doesnt look good on me lol

The vitamin c trick works sooooooo well in my opinion. No it doesn't remove it all in one sitting but do it over and weel span multiple times using deep conditoner after and girlllll almost nothing but a pastel tint

My hair is bleached since 2021 and several ends snapped and they're in two ends, even though I used conditioner and mask over two months. Frizz all over also and I don't want to cut all of my lenght. Help!

I am extreamly confused as to why that girl put developer in the red splat color. Your supposed to put the color in, by itself, it doesnt need anything unless its condition
