I tried to follow this afro hair tutorial on my pin straight hair Jaded: Hay Brad, have you ever tried what they call rags in vintage hair?
My nan use to put strips of cloth in my hair damp as a kid.
She would twist sections of hair tight then tightly rap my twists with the cloth the opposite way in to kind of heaps of tight buns and id sleep in them and have perfect wringlet curls the next day.
More sections, more tighter curles.
My hair would be curle central even on long hair.
Its a 1940s thing as far as i can gether but my nan was a woman of that era.
But i found in my 20s that i could kind of brush them out then re sectioned and teased them and roll them with product to hold them together and make like temp dreads too.
You so could have done candy locks with that, what you finished with.
Hay, having fun with hair

You didn't keep them in long enough or wet them first or anythiiing I demand a redooo lol I'm about to do this to my hair but infinity curls with q-tips wish me luck specially since I have a lot of house chores to do and a newborn and toddler and even possibly a move in this mix! Might be a few days lol specially since there's a lot I usually have to prioritize other then the kiddos and breastfeeding

I'm trying to watch this while my husband is asleep next to my. Then here is Brad taking out this pins out and I can't help but giggle loudly so I look away from my screen an look back in the hopes that I won't giggle loudly again and nope I keep doing it

I learnt this curling technique at uni, have super straight hair and I did this on my whole head and it worked beautifully! I think your hair has to be longer to get the neatness though. Does take a long time, particularly with long hair!

I think he failed his own rule, to leave it in for enough time, the first one turned out good because it was the one longest in that position. As he does always the ends first and then the roots, its a matter of time.

I'm also a hairdresser and I've thought about doing basically the same thing but with comb coils on my wavy hair and I'm hoping it'll give me some kind of curl. I'm kind of testing out curly before I commit to a perm

My mom had these plastic U shaped pieces that she put in our hair when we were little. It's pretty much the same thing. There were large, medium and small ones. Maybe I can figure out what they were called.

This style reminds me of style in movies Mockingjay (those who vomit to eat more, not from the district 12, or The Fifth Element. Especially combined with that clothes.

Your texture is not suited to this. Less pommade and more conditioner. Maybe use wave clips with the pommade next time and a big bonnet dryer under high heat.

I love all of Viv Hair Therapy videos. I especially love the I don't see texture hair tutorials and anything but curlers tutorials. Love you too Brad.

Brad getting a feel for the curly hair moment lmaoo. No matter what we do, sometimes this is just what we get. But it actually looks SUPER good on him
reply

It actually doesn't look horrible, you just need to do it to the side instead of out front because your hair is short. Try it with q-tips.

Can we all collectively agree to make the style with the pins still in a thing. I want it to be a thing. Viv looked sick with them in.

This just gave me flashbacks to a time I use pick-up sticks to curl my hair I ended up looking like Magenta from Rocky Horror gone wrong.

I cant get over Brad thinking this will last 2 months on her hair when in reality it will at the absolute most will last her a week
