The part when the third one had her hair laying in front of her face, all of the longer parts of the hair (which were thinner than the parts closer to her scalp) were the only parts that weren't sticking out straight. She pretty much cut all of the thin length. I can't see how her hair could have bangs 'cause for the hair to not stick out straight, her hair would have to be going down to eyes to give her hair enough weight for the hair to go downwards instead of straight out like the hair is super short (though it's not. From what I'm seeing. Though her hair is still past her eyebrows. Like Brad says, her hair would always need to be styled. Though her hair is still long, but it can't even lay flat.

Hey brad went to my local hairdresser to have my bangs trimmed and the hairdresser messed them up, specifically told her I like them to sit just on my eye brows and that I blow them out with a round brush and clearly she completely ignored me as they are now an inch at least above my eyebrow, suffice to say wont be going back to that hairdresser. Have tried to flatten them down to get some more length any tips for getting through until they grow out a bit, also welcome any tips from anyone else in this comment section too.

Ive been cutting my bangs myself since I was a teenager Im 38 now. Even if I get my hair professionally cut which is like once in blue moon I dont let them cut my bangs. I dont understand how some people cut their bangs retro short and not realize it. Its like theyre blind folded or something even blind folded you could feel its too short. Lol! I just ordered some professional shears and chunk cutters to give myself the wolf cut that brad posted like cheat code for hair cut.

I hate the piece-y forehead bangs! At least on me. But idk if its how oily my roots get and how fast or that I just dont have enough hair to cut up front without taking too much away from the sides of my face and my forehead NEEDS a lot of hair to cover it because its so big, but theres almost no real solution to have a neat, no-gap, straight-across bang look for me.

It reminds me of people who say that they're chefs, but don't really know how to cook anything, have no technical knowledge of the culinary arts. Of course anyone can cook a piece of chicken breast (maybe. But It pains me that people who don't know how to cook, never learned how, then pretend that they are experts in some way. Annoying!

I'm not a fan of bangs, but they do make sense. A long time ago. Cave men/women didn't have hairdressers, I'm sure their hair got matted, Tangled and in the way. Especially in the way of their vision. So they found ways to cut the hair above the eyes to see better. And humans have been cutting bangs now for thousands of years!

bradmondo Whyd you say to straighten her hair beforehand? Its adding EVEN MORE TENSION and she should actually just comb the hair where shed like the bangs and cut with NO TENSION. no finger pulling to straighten just point cutting upwards where shed like. imagine if she cut it straightened then washed it.

Between haircuts Ill trim my bangs when they start getting too long lol. Life lesson, dont decide at an impulse to do so at 2am. Horrible idea. Cut them decent, but a bit short. I have side bangs and like them to be able to tuck behind my ear and some strands didnt reach

Personally, after cutting my own hair for so many years and along the way making a shit ton of mistakes, I think you should start at the chin, then the tip of the nose and finally the bridge of the nose. That will give you more room to figure out what your doing

I have naturally curly hair that is very fine and a huge cowlick in the front so, out of respect for all stylists, I do not try to cut my hair. But I do color my hair and am studying the color videos!
