I made a shirt out of human hair
video description
I watched a series recently, it has like 40ish eps n it centers aggressively around NY. As in landmarks are very imp n they go soooo into the details. So they walk all the time even if its like 30 min away with the power of coffee cups. They do take underground metro like once in 10 eps so there's that. It's just a simple thriller(not geography stuff) n by 10th ep I found out whats soo bizarre. tHE WALKING! NONE OF EM HAD CARS/BIKES/PERSONAL VEHICLE! n my only ref is your vid where ur walking n its a normal thing for you. loved that video btw

As someone who is majoring in costuming next year and took a full year course this year I would recommend that you dont pull the fabric because the machine pushes it along and your hands are there just to guide the fabric along! Also, you shouldnt go to fast in the machine because it can actually break it or get the fabric stuck in it. I did both of those things when I started, its completely normal thing to do and for your first sewing project that looks so good!

as someone who is moderately versed in the ways of sewing you see the lines where the sleeve connects to the shirt? those are stitches or seams with a seam ripper you could have just removed the sleeves instead of cutting which would leave you with a cleaner sleeve and possible some lines to follow for finishing the sleeve. Also its called a pin holder or some of us just call them tomatoes

When I first heard your idea at beginning of vid I was like lol wat? but you actually pulled that off! For a first project it's great. My first project was when I was 14. renfaire gown. it had no lining and I made it out of 1 dollar a yard crap cotton. Hardly lasted one renfaire season but I was pretty proud of that thing. Haha

ANTM cycle 14, featured fashion designer was a couple of guys that go by Weavin Steven and I cannot remember one a weaveologist, but theyre known for hair shows called Hair Wars out of Detroit and their avant- guard clothes. Messy as hell, but very interesting, especially some of the very high concept hair pieces and dresses

You got lucky - you bought one of the easiest machines ever! I went through several over the years, before I bought a plain Singer heavy-duty machine. It's pretty easy to use, and the instructions are clear. I've been doing a lot of my own clothes for about 20 years, and it's really fun to watch you learn it.

Brad: OMG I should make a dress
Me: Hedwig did it first
(Look up Hedwig and the Angry Inch, either movie or broadway. It's the hair dress)

I love it! Its super cute and cool, only you could make a human hair shirt without making it weird. Hair is your whole thing after all, lol.

As someone who professionally is a seamstress, aka sewperson, aka designer well done! 9 out of 10, because there must be room for improvement.

It looks like the type of shirt an old classic rock star would wear, it is iconic. This is how I feel when I make cosplay lol
