I Tried Every Overnight No Heat Curl Method Auhsa: The spiral thing is called a curlformer and they're easier to use if you assemble the hook and push the whole thing through the form beforehand and then hook the hair to pull through. To get it trough smoother it's a good idea to squish the silicon at the end so it's open, same when removing the hair from the form.
Those curls last a LONG time, even for people with teflon hair like mine. They can be an absolute workout to get all the hair in since they will brutally reject too large sections of hair into a painful mess, so no cheating when the arms get tired. Still, absolutely worth the effort.

I use #4 - the wired foam in fabric jobbies - regularly. #5 the foam rods are good for the curl but so uncomfortable to wear. Looking forward to seeing how the others turn out - maybe I'll change my curlers. Maybe.
#4 on a full head is no effort at all - I have waist length hair and I use 6-8 of those curlers to get waves. Dirty sock is close to the Georgian, Victorian papering your hair. I might try #8 - your tiktok thing - but my normal curlers are much easier to sleep in than the rods and some of the other curlers. And, let's face it, that's how we use curlers in real life.

I Tried Every Overnight No Heat Curl Method Part 2: Try the Cocoon curls (no rubberband, scrunchie, or clips and bobby pins necessary. It works best on small sections of hair. Try the no-heat curl with the sock again, but this time instead of tying the two ends of the socks, find the tube opening section of the sock and flip it over to the curls to secure the hair in place. This method works better on bigger sections. Try the paper/tissue/paper towel curls. It works best on small sections of hair. Lastly, try the rope braid method.

I d love to see you take your favorite 3 and do a full Mani head with them! Or even on an actual person because a big factor in lots of these is how realistic and comfortable they are to have on for several hours/overnight. AND if they don t get all frizzy or kinked around the roots from the curlers being lived in/slept in. I know one thing that I have a hard time with when it comes to heatless curls is the weight of the curler pulling my roots super flat against my scalp and then not being able to get that volume back.

Honestly, could Brad be any cuter? If he continues to ascend the cuteness ladder I may not survive. I love that he loves the number 11, as a child it became my favorite number visually because it looks like a pair of 1's, two 1's together, never alone. Brad is a blessing, he's so much fun and he really wants everyone to be their own version of beautiful. I love that he seems to find beauty in everyone of the people in the videos he shares.
Omg, Brad's dirty sock face, so funny, lol

Hi Brad. When I was young (I am 70 now, we had Spoolies, which worked similarly to that plastic foldover one you used, but Spoolies were far superior. They were more like pincurls that required no pins. When I first saw the gadgets you used I was so hopeful that Spoolies were back, but not even close. :-(
I also used to use perm rods on wet hair, and sleep on those. Always woke up with gorgeous curls. Would love to get some real perm rods like we had back then. Ah, nostalgia.

I love heartless curls! They re better than using hot tools in basically every way but speed. I ve learned so much about their versatility, techniques, products, and sleeping with them over the years and I could literally talk about them for ages. My favourite are flexi rods (even though their awful to sleep in) and satin lined foam rollers. I hate doing them wet though because it s hard to get them to dry well without a hooded dryer or blowdryer so I just do dry hair with mousse

Braaaaaaad! Wet sets have to be brushed a lot and shaped into what you're after. So the pillow rollers (the b&w polka dot things) are perfect - and super comfortable. Foam rollers and pincurls are good too. Marilyn pincurled and then brushed her hair into those big waves. Those things will give you anything from Rita Hayworth to Veronica Lake - it's in the cut and how you brush it out. I'd really like to see you get into vintage hairstyling - it's fun!

So nice to see Siya again. She's so adorable.
OMG, when you brought out that sock - THAT brought back memories. My Mom use to curl my sister and my hair in socks when we were little. (1960s. 4 socks each (CLEAN btw) and they were easy to sleep on. Here's one more for you - someone I follow has such long hair that cloth T/T one iwasn't long enough. So, she used the belt/tie from a robe.

these are amazing! I use foam rollers mostly from this selection but right now my hair is pretty short. I'd love to be able to do the straw curls on my entire head I think it would be so sick. I have white bleached hair and unfortunately no one will put perm on it but that's my dream. Hey Brad maybe you can invent perm that can be used on bleached hair? just saying.

Brad the way you're using the CurlFormers. that first one that you're calling swirly swirly, you're doing the section of hair is in reverse. you're going to break the CurlFormers that way. You put the hook through the CurlFormers feed it through to the end. hook the end of the hair onto it and then pull the hook through leaving the CurlFormers attached to the hair.

I bought the little pink rubber ones a few years ago and the curls were absolutely rubbish. I bought the 1st springy one with the hook and found them to be amazing, but did take ages to dry. I've never been able to master a curling wand or straightener method, so I'll have to stick to heatless curls. I like the look of the tiktok silk thing too.

I've tried most of these, except the curl former (spiral thing) the TikTok one, and the flipping one. I use the polkadot ones, I love the wild curls: ) but headband curls are my favorite, that gives me gorgeous loose ringlets. The others haven't really worked for me. I'm going to try something similar to the TikTok one, legging curls: )

My mom rolled my hair in those sponge rollers every night before I went to bed when I was little and I had golden blonde hair just like those extensions. It always came out really nice and so when my daughter was young, I would do that for her hair. how we slept on those I have no idea because of the little plastic clip thing, but they worked.

People say dogs often look like their owners and Brad's pup looks just like him in dog form. I'm all about wetting the hair, adding some foam and putting rollers in and sleeping in them or in the summer putting them in early in the morning and having it dry in a few hours. It's so easy and usually turns out great.
