Hairdresser Reacts To Jaw Dropping Curly Hair Tiktoks Ariana: Brad I don t think ppl got mad cause u said u like it. it s probably more about how many curly haired people get told straight looks better and end up damaging their hair severely because of that. People probably just linked the two ideas. Which am sure as a seasoned hair dresser u already know about how beauty standards work (hair wise.
ur comment did sound a lil weird; but probably not what u meant.

I used to be called mop head growing up because I had this messy puffy curly hair that I had no idea how to take care of. I became conditioned to believe straight hair was beautiful and fell into ironing my hair for years. My hair became very damaged and wouldn t grow past a certain length and it wasn t until I was 28 that I did the big chop and began embracing my natural curls.
It s been four years now and my hair has grown SO much and is so much healthier and defined, I never thought my hair would ever get to this point in my life. I get a lot of compliments and it really helps me to feel like I made the right choice in embracing my natural hair. All hair types are beautiful, but as a curly girl who grew up self conscience of her curls - I m so glad to see curls being appreciated and embraced!

I have naturally frizzy curls that I'm trying to grow out. Some time. Last year I think, I found some hair products that had argan oil in it and it has really helped my hair from breaking and also keeping the perfect balance between moisturized and clean.
The first time I used it, I went from having shoulder length hair to having it reach the small of my back in just 3 months. Before if I wanted my hair to grow that long it would have taken me 2 years. I do not use a hairdryer for my hair. I only air-dry it after dabbing it with a towel. I have only taken a straightener to my hair three times my entire life.
So, I can definitely understand the struggles of keeping your natural curls healthy and manageable.

Brad calling me beautiful is wonderful! Back when I was in a worse life, making horrible decisions, I stumbled upon his videos and heard him call me beautiful. It made me remember I was beautiful, made me want to feel beautiful again, and helped me start to make more beautiful decisions. I left that ugly life behind years ago. even the aspects that other people said were impossible to recover from. I feel beautiful again and live a very beautiful life! Thank you, Brad! YOU are beautiful!

A DINGLEHOPPER
Curls brushed out is a one way ticket to tangle city
You can't use a TONNE of products if you're going to straighten it after blowdrying. It will end up a limp greasy mess, and you're risking heat damage.
The ginger lady with long hair has naturally pin straight hair. No amount of curly hair products will do jack shit.
Keep brad away from curly hair until he learns more about it, bc every video he speaks on it exposes his ignorance lol

I barely have wavy hair, still it doesn't straighten well, though. I rode my bike to school and when it was foggy out, my hair fuzzed up like you wouldn't believe; I always thought I had difficult but straight hair. I just brushed it out wet after washing. Texture, what little I had? Gone. Only in my 30s I decided, f- it! I'm not doing this anymore. I'm 50 now and I just rock whatever I got. It's mine.

I honestly thought I had super straight hair, but after not using heat and letting it dry naturally without brushing, all the waves come out! My younger sister has long, ginger curly hair like a lot of those in the video, and it is such a beautiful hair type but curly haired peeps put waaaay much time and love into their hair. It's probably why so many people think they have straight hair

Tip for my fellow curly hair peeps with super dry hair add a little olive oil or (oil you prefer) to shampoos and conditioners the results are beautiful. For super deep moisturizing and conditioning I mix olive coconut and black castor oils with conditioner leave it on while wearing a shower cap for 30 min to 1 hour makes my hair like shiny silk

People feel the way they do about hearing folks say I love seeing curly hair straightened cause ppl have and continue to face consequences for wearing their hair the way it grows out of their head. I know you know this, Brad! As a Black woman I have faced social and professional pressure/bullying specifically for my hair not being straight.

Ah, I can completely relate to the young lady with the blonde super curly hair. Mine also looks like this when I brush it! Then you can t just go swimming or you ll end up with a fro after you re finished. Always planning ahead, always carrying mousse, spritz, brush and hair tyes. The not so glamorous sides to natural curly hair.

Hi Brad! Love your videos The girl in the beginning who created a mask out of her hair, you were wondering what it was! She created the character Kuromi from Hello Kitty and Friends! Kuromi is some sort of aninal. I'm not sure what kind of animal, tho, lol.

Such a satisfying video! They all have such beautiful hair too. My hair is short now, but back when it was longer I could only grow it to my waist, so I'm a bit envious of those ladies with really long hair.

I have curly hair but it is so dry and frizzy and I hate it so much! Maybe I ll just brush it and go outside like a lioness like brad said haha, it s big and frizzy already, so might as well just commit.

I have hair like the video at 11: 51, I have to keep it short because it gets too heavy, tangles easily, and in the summer it heats up like crazy. My scalp is so itchy because it heats up so much.

My granddaughters have super long very thick curly hair that people stop use all the time to say OMG your hair is so beautiful. It takes hours to tame, brush, moisturize and wash their hair
