Hairdresser Reacts To DIY Red To Blond Hair Color Transformations
video description
Also when I had red hair over a year ago, I used charcoal bleach and 30 volume left it on for 10ish minutes as I have thin hair and didn't want damage. I watched it like a hawk haha. When I rinsed it out I used toner and easily went back to blonde before allowing it to grow enough to match my hair too my roots

And this boys and girls is why using box dyes is not a good idea. It's very hard to determine which ones have metallic salts in them and when metallic salts build up in your hair, it has a nasty reaction with lighteners, which can make your hair melt off and sometimes even smoke. I've used them myself a lot in my life but if I know I'm planning to do a fashion color, I'll either try to have as virgin hair as possible, or at a minimum I make an effort to make sure I'm not using box dyes in the months leading up. A lot of people don't understand that harm that box dyes can do to your hair especially if you like to change colors randomly. Nothing could be worse than dyeing your hair black or copper for several months to a year, and then bleaching it. You'll lose your hair. They may be affordable, but they're affordable for a REASON. Avoid the temptation and walk yourself into Sally beauty or something like that where you can get better grade dye. They're about the same price nowadays anyway

Wow they all did amazing jobs, especially considering that red is so hard to get out! Many years ago, I put Manic Panic in Vampire Red in my natural level 6-7 hair (between light brown & dark blonde. I thought that since my hair wasn't very light, it wouldn't be too vibrant and would eventually fade. Nope! It gave a vibrant, full coverage and the color lasted, just slightly fading over time. I currently have color in my ends that was purple, and I was later able to fade to pink. Even with professional color remover treatments and bleach, the pink doesn't want to budge!

As much as I love color oops I have sworn in the past and maybe I thought I was just going crazy that it only seems to remove warm tones. To the girl whose hair turned green I've had something similar happened when I've tried to remove purple or Gray anything with a blue undertone. Even though I swear I would never use those colors again I finally figured out that with a bleach Bath and then some ketchup you can finally get that chlorine green out.

I ve been trying to get rid of the red and literally go to a dark blonde like a dark ash blonde. I ve colored it 3 times and the color is perfect until I wash it the next time and the red starts to come back through. I don t know what I m doing wrong I refuse to color it again because I don t want to damage it anymore. I ve cut 6 inches off to get rid of as much of that color and damaged ends as I could.

Her hair probably turned green because the pink-red color in her hair oxidized. I have a black semi permanent color that when bleached, turns a dark green at first and then, slowly turns pink the more it processes. The bleach probably had some sort of reaction in her hair and turned the remaining red color into a green. Green is the opposite of red on the color wheel.

I have had my hair dyed red since i was 16 by a hairdresser. I went to a new one and had the bottom dyed green, which took about 5 hours, even with her doihg a couple of test strands with different colour greens. Now its got purple ends, but with a cut so my hair is just below my shoulders. Hopefully in a year's time i can have it blue, once my natural hair colour grows out.

I accidentally went clown red on my hair after lightening it to the prettiest shade of warm blonde. Instant regret when I looked up from the sink. I twisted it up with a bunch of hydrating stuff and hid it under wigs. A week later I got some color oops and that horrid-smelling crap took the red right out. Now I have that pretty pretty blonde back.

I love these videos they always are so entertaining to see the results, his knowledge on what s really happening and how he s also surprised by the results! It s also so great that he supports and talks briefly about the creators helping them potentially get views, must be hard being an up and coming creator and the exposure could help them.

I tried Colorfix Color Remover to remove/lighten Level 4 Medium-Dark Brown box hair dye and it did nothing except ruin my hair with extreme breakage. I waited a few months and then tried BTZ Color Remover with Level 20 developer, and OMG it removed the color with no damage - lightening to Level 8 Light Blonde with very minimal brassiness.

I was genuinely thinking about this the other day. As a very clueless person when it comes to beauty products and hair (though I'm learning, thanks Brad Mondo, I have red hair and want to dye certain parts blonde.
No clue how to go about it I said I wonder if Brad Mondo has a video on this. And here we are.
Wishes do come true?

I'm actually a natural redhead, and the amount of nuclear damage I've done to my hair due to bleaching until the red comes out is really really bad Brad. Even when I was a redhead and only needed to lift it a few levels, it usually is at least 2-3 bleaches plus toning and lots of purple shampoo to get to a somewhat passable blond.

This was a dramatic video! Do you plan to do any tutorials for naturally fizzy hair? How to style, best techniques for a curling iron to calm the curls down? DIY cuts for fizzy hair? I have loooong super fizzy hair and never know what to do with it beyond the day of the wash and braid it from the 2nd day till I wash them again.

I'm sorry, but there is no way that first train wreck turned out like that in the end. That's either an expensive wig or the final reveal is several months after she destroyed her hair. Frankly, I love Brad and I will watch everything he puts out, but personally, I think some of these heifers are straight up lying.

Welcome to what Color Oops can do to certain semi permanent colors! Just removed the pink in my profile picture and it went blue! Like BLUE! I ended up having to use a bleach bath because it wasn't light enough for what I needed and it went back to pink after the bleach bath. Chemistry is fun!

Yay another Brad Mondo video. I need to re bleach and dye my peekaboo hair as it has grown out in 4 months but I kind of don t want to do it at home but I am anxious of getting it done at the hairdressers as I m staying somewhere far from my normal hairdresser. What should I do?

I think the last girl was getting a lot of blue bounce light from her environment (sparkly blue backdrop. She said her roots looked yellow in person even though they looked green on camera, so some of the green (possibly not all of it) might have been yellow hair + blue light.

Colour remover is not to be toyed with. I ruined my coarse hair with it (colour oops) and two years later have finally grown out the damage. It also did not get the cherry red dye out and I had orange clown hair that wouldn't take new colour. NEVER AGAIN!

I used Colour B4 colour remover once, and then used 20 vol bleach on top around a week later. my hair was SMOKING. Smoke! Please be careful with colour removers if they contains Metallic Salts, as these react crazy with bleach or hair dye after!
