Hairdresser Reacts to Chaotic Copper Hair Makeovers My natural color is reddish brown, but definitely brunette. I've done it auburn/red for years, but out of the box until a few years ago. Started getting it done at the salon & it adds so much dimension! Initially, I went b/c I wanted some lighter highlights or boleyage(sp) & knew my limits lol Loved it & my hairdresser is really comfortable w/reds so we've mixed it up each time. Started using more coppers the last few times & I love them! She always puts a darker red on the roots & pulls it down to blend w/the brighter & lighter colors. Makes it look way better when it grows out, way less noticeable. She's so amazing w/my hair & loves that I like to try new stuff. The only restriction is I'm military so any color has to be one that occurs naturally. So no purple undertones or fire-engine/crayon red. Can't wait until I'm out & able to do whatever color I want!

Here s my hair color story! I bleached my hair a couple weeks ago on Christmas Eve from a rlly faded pink with grown out roots (like 3-4 inches) and I was gonna go bleach blond but I felt that something wasn t gonna go right so I bought backup brown dye And so after I bleached my FULL HEAD it was BRIGHT PINK I was so confused but then remembered as I kept dyeing my previously bleached parts pink I put it on my roots too so I was fully bright pink and I was lwk feeling it but like a inch of my roots were rlly blond so I just put the brown over it and the pink and brown made a cute like auburn copper color! But weird thing is, it s fading into blond idk but also my hair feels more healthy which is weird considering I ve bleached my hair at least 7 times myself

Cool toned gingers do exist though. I'm one. Well my hair has a green filter on my user pic but yeah. my hair is naturally a deep copper red and I have a very cool skin tone. It's a misconception that all redheads are or should be warm toned. I have often had ppl call me warm toned when I'm not at all. They just associate red hair with warm. I actually think copper red hair is a color that can look good on almost any skin tone or color.

Are we being punked? Three solid minutes of advertising, starring you. I will never get that time back. Do you feel dirty? I m gobsmacked. I have watched so many of your videos, and now this? Obviously you need to be supported with revenue blah blah blah but I think there are less offensive and intrusive ways to do it. Unfortunately, if this is the new normal, I m out.

Bradley Mondo. just in case you are wondering I AM LISTENING and have learned. When I lift my hair for semi permanent color (its roots now) I have my partner help me do the back with thin slices and if my regrowth is long we apply to the mid shafts and then do the roots when the rest is a level 8. Some of us actually listen, you are helping!

I think if you have curly hair its better to apply dye to straightened hair so you get a more even application. My hair is wavy and I always straighten my hair 3-4 days before i dye it then the scalp has some natural oils to protect you from the bleach and you dont feel like you spent an hour straightening for nothing.

Brad: You don t need to bleach your hair before using hi-lift colour
Also Brad: You need to lighten your hair before depositing colour
As someone with a background in cosmetology I understand what he means but, if the average person heard that it would be very confusing. Maybe make a video breaking that down

Hey Mr. M. I absolutely love ur videos. I love hair styling n haven't been able to do anything with my hair lately so ur videos give me a little calming enlightenment, adding to the fact that ur definitely easy on the eyes with ur reassuring smile. Thanks. My Birthday is this Tuesday

Brad so funny. Immediately he is like I had no part of that. I really do appreciate brad he is the only white stylist I truly trust for tips on my hair especially learning how to color. He taught me so much in my early 20s and thank god I never messed my hair up.

Please stop promoting Sally beauty! It s not for normal people, it s for professionals, they ask you for proof of your business at point of payment, you can shop there but things cost 3 times more than if you owned a business. it s for professionals!

I love how you and Hair Bhudda continually beg for 20 volume and to start bleaching the hair in the back. Between the two of you, you would think people would eventually learn. But alas, the two of you will always have content to share with us.

I went to Sally s after work today to get bleach and caps. I ve had the Amethyst color to use since November.
I ended up impulsively getting xMondo Slate. So now I m going attempt to do purple roots and gray mids and ends.
I m very scared.

Him commenting about ginger not looking good on cool toned skin is weird because all natural redheads that I have met are pale AF and have VERY cool toned skin and they look gorgeous with it. Shoutout to you lovely gorgeous natural redheads

Damn, I just went from teal/green to ginger and I should ve recorded it. I definitely damaged my hair way more than I needed to. Almost all the color has fallen out already. Don t know if I should redye it or just fade it to blonde.

Does anyone here have experience with the Goldwell colour revive shampoo and conditioner for copper coloured hair? I've noticed that the shampoo only works a tiny bit for my copper hair whereas the conditioner turns it bright red.

That first girl, her hair looks great like she already has like an ombre going on she can get away with the dark roots into her hair color maybe a temporary color on the ends or some sort of gloss she just needs some conditioning

People need to understand that, highcolor IS ONLY FOR NATURALLY MEANING VIRGIN DARK HAIR! NOTHIGN WILL HAPPEN IF APPLIED OVER COLOR UNLESS ITS A LIGHT BLONDISH. if you're a virgin brunette it will give you color without bleaching.

Hey Brad, I've been dying my hair for about a year now. It's been done at home by my hair stylist mom. This last time i convinced her to buy Xmondo and we used Super Purple. Its been the best purple ive had.
