As someone who went to a family friend who is a hairdresser, (but she doesn’t do color well, and she has curly hair, and cut my straight hair, like a curly cut, and it was very unfortunate but my mom (who has curly hair) had our friend (who also has curly hair) cut and dyed my hair. I asked for a doctor pepper red or a cherry cola red color, but she said it was considered a fashion color and dyed my hair darker brown, almost black colored I was terrified, but I couldn’t say anything about it to her face, I actually went home and 3 days later I used color remover on it (it was actually so patchy, and it kept washing out while showering, and I have naturally medium brown hair to start with, and my daughter is a redhead naturally. We have the same complexion. I’ve always wanted to be redhead and match her. But it was terrible. after I did the color removal, I had a lot of help from an employee (with multi colored hair) at Sally’s, who pointed me towards a few colors that were close enough to my natural color so that I could grow it out without a huge line a year or so before I decided to go red, I was growing out a ballet pink color. (I’m so pale, that it often looked like I was bald my natural color is a medium red/brown. But I’ve been wanting to go actual copper red since our daughter was born; 14 years ago now) because her hair is so beautiful, and because any time I do something reddish, everyone compliments my skin tone. I think I was actually born to be a redhead.

When I went through a similar phase and had literally white hair (was super damaged from all the bleaching, please don't do it, just buy a wig) - I wanted to go back to my natural colour right away, didn't do it in steps. I just mixed a darker brown with some red hair dye to bring back that pigment (I was told this wouldn't work) and I need to tell you that the result was so beautiful and it actually worked. When I'd be in the sun, I'd get that slight red pigment coming through. The best decision I've made when it came to my hair. Then the healing journey began and a lot of hair chopping

I have brown hair with natural red and gold tinting (My mum was a red head, my dad was blonde as a kid and then went mousy brown when he got older, so I had blonde hair as a kid and turned dark brown in my teenagehood) and I now also have grey and silver through my hair but I've only ever had to apply bleach once for the colour to lift.

Well actually heres a fact if you put brown on top of blue it will turn your hair shit green color which is y u have to remove and then use a toner level that remibes blue enzyme as well before u can dye hair brown i know bc im currently in transition from blue to my natural brown color

Hey, I wanted to ask if anybody here could give me some advice. I really want to cut my straight, flat hair into one of those like, just above the shoulder, really fluffy voluminous wolf cuts, but idk if that would work with my kinda hair and how I would preserve it. Any tips

Hmmm! She went to a professional. Her real hair straightened would be longer. That said, it looks good and as long as she’s happy, it’s all fine in my book. I just don’t appreciate the deception.

I'm not sure if you'll see this brad, but if you put your super vibrant red hair color on non bleached kind of dark brown hair, would it come out like a maroon color or would it just not show up

I don’t know if Youll answer but do Yk Wjy my virgin dark hair almost so dark it’s almost black that people mistake for black turned GREEN when I bleached it like VIBRANT green!

First she cut the green out, it's a lot shorter in the front. Second, she did not deep condition or bond repair. Hair stiff with no shine. Go to the professionals!

She definitely added extensions and you can tell with how long her hair got at the end. I’d rather see what her actual hair looks like.
