In today's video, we are going to be using a new product and it's going to make your marbling dreams come true. OMG How cool is that? I'm going to be using these two gorgeous brand spanking new products called Blue Lilac Marble and Paradise Marble and I'm going to be showing you a magic trick what happens when you damp both colours using the monomer. This is magic or science but we can't explain it. Can someone please explain this phenomenon in the comment box below. So, we are now going to start to marble this nail and the let the magic ensue and to add a little bit of pizzaz to the design, I'm going to use Frost Shimmer and Bermuda Bay to give it a little bit of sparkle and now I am going to encapsulate this design using the Crystal Clear and then I'm going to top coat over it and cure the nail

To answer your question Adam; Certain lower quality or cheaper acrylic companies have made colored acrylics with pigments that don't quite mix well with acrylic powder. You can still buy quite a few brands that have this type of acrylic. However, now that marbling has become so popular better companies have started using the pigments that don't set up well with the clear acrylic to re-market them as a specific marbling acrylic. It's all about the pigment powder not mixing with the clear acrylic. Used to be a royal pain in the butt, and now it's a sought after product, LOL.

Okay yeah the marbles cool love it I love it not even done with the video But the nails you have on right now oh my gosh they are just to die for and you have them looking more stiletto instead of the ballerina are super long love it but the bling oh my goodness bling bling bling I love bling and I love your nails right now hard to pay attention to the video so I've had to actually watch it a couple times now just because I keep looking at how gorgeous your nails are thank you. Thank you Adam for your comments because I was wondering the same thing as always

Hmmm. I can only guess it works by pressure. The compression of it as the brush pushes into it to pick it up makes it the lighter color. Same as when it's dropped into the dappen dish; it changes to the lighter color on the bottom from the surface tension of falling into the liquid. But once it's wet from the monomer it doesn't seem to matter, the reaction has already happened, and that's why you can move it about on the nail without it changing further.

Its the best one ive seen perfection young nails neon colour collection used to do the same. Was told its cause theres a high amount of white pigment in there. Dont know how true that is? Dont agree with the comment of cheap acrylics do it as youngs isnt cheap and u also find this with some glam and glits colours

I'm inclined to believe that it may be a difference in the size of the pigment particles as apposed to the size of the acrylic particles. I've had this same effect from some coloured acrylic powders from other lines. Different pigments, milled to different sizes; ) bit of a science geek; )
