Im going to do Vanessas nails Gold and Black. Ive already prepped the nails so Im going straight in with the form - putting it on as if I was doing a stiletto. Im then going to prep with products. Im going to sculpt out the nails in clear acrylic, doing a short ballerina nail. Im keeping this layer really thin because Im going to be putting more acrylic on top. Im then going to overlay with Glam Gold. Im then going to add some glitter I mixed in the previous video with Vanessa. Im then capping in clear and adding my apex. For the pointer finger, Im going to apply Glam Gold down the centre in a rectangle shape. Then, Im going to use a craft knife dipped on powder to cut away and neaten up the sides. Fill in the sides with Black Acrylic. Im doing a little triangle shape on the middle finger in black, cutting away the sides like before. Im then doing another triangle in gold on both sides of the black. Im then doing a diamond shape in-between the two gold triangles. Im then filling the rest in with a transparent black which I already mixed. Im doing the ring finer totally transparent black and cap it in clear. Im doing my normal filing routine. Im then going to use Its Clear Dear and some Top Coat to apply my stones. Im then going to use black acrylic to create a 3D pattern and add some stones in the middle using the black acrylic. Finish off with cuticle oil

Ive put acrylic on my toenails, but I wasnt trying to extend the nail. I was capping my big toenail after it split down the middle vertically. I cracked my toenail tripping over my granddaughters toy (right down the middle from about 2/3s the way up, and the free edge was jagged. I wrapped it with a bandaid until it stopped hurting (about two weeks. Then I hand-filed the nail to thin it a tiny bit, and I capped it in acrylic until the crack grew out. I didnt infill as it grew. Instead, I hand-filed to smooth and blend the cuticle edge, and filed the toenail a bit shorter every two weeks until it finally grew out and I could remove the excess acrylic. It took months, but I was afraid Id accidentally rip the nail off if I had just left it alone. BTW, Im not a nail professional. I just learned enough to do a decent job of it by watching you. Thanks, Kirstie I dont know that what I did would have been approved by a doctor (so I dont recommend anyone else try that without talking to your doctor, but it worked for me.

I'm just having my coffee and watching your beautiful work as I do almost every morning. I've gotten into doing my own acrylic nails and I've really enjoyed the adventure. Even when I'm not doing nails that day, sitting with you and Adam and watching you create inspires me to make something beautiful out of my day. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, it's the most valuable gift one can give. If you want to see what you've inspired in me, I have a humble little Instagram of just my nails ideserveadrink. Literally all the acrylic work comes solely from your generous teachings. Thank you so much for over 2 years of happy mornings, coffee, and nail art. -Love from Houston Tx, Justin

I am curious to know what about this video makes a thumbs down justifiable. Do those 5 people disagree with how the service is preformed, the design as a whole, are they competitors or (as much as I detest the following adjective) are they just haters? Kirsty and Adam have such a great chemistry in these videos, I just can't wrap my brain around a single dislike/thumbs down, let alone five of them.

A little off topic but Ive enjoyed your makeup tutorials and after following your instructions, Ive received many compliments on how great my makeup looks. I have purchased many of the products you used and they are wonderful. So nice to have a professional opinion, it saves so much money and time for me, not having to buy less than awesome products just to end up in the bin.

This set turned out lovely I loved the sneak-peek at the finished set at the end I hope we get to see the other hand as our next video. Black and gold always looks so very formal, like someone is going to a ball, or somewhere, and their escort will be wearing a tux.

Thank you so much for calling out your mistake and explaing why and how it can be fixed. Those little tid bits of info are extremely helpful. Many techs would have skipped right over it on film and fixed it off camera.
