Nina Dobrev visits the Bon Apptit Test Kitchen to make crispy-skinned red snapper with Carla. Can she follow along using verbal instructions only? Ian Cryar: I kind of feel sorry for those who never taken to the a slaughter house at age 6 or went hunting/fishing not long after because the whole concept of the mystery of food went away real early in my life because I was taken to a slaughter house at age 6 and I started hunting/fishing not long after and because of that I have no qualms about where food comes from or seeing the face of what I'm about to cook/eat.

Wow, I lost respect for this actress. How removed do you have to be from reality if you have supposedly eaten fish and never seen a fish head. I think it's more disgusting to see what American fast food joints like McDonalds sell as fish.

i love this series could you do an episode with twenty one pilots maybe? i dont know how you would work it out but i think it would be great their wives would be cool too, jenna Joseph and debby Ryan. idk, just a thought.

8: 47 Carla: We are gonna go low and slow. Nina: What if we like it to be hot and quick? Carla: We can go hot and fast but then you get dry. Nina: No, we don't want it to be dry here.

Fun fact about fish hearts: they only have 1 atrium and 1 ventrikle (along with the conus arteriosus and sinus venosus, yada yada yada) opposed to our hearts, which have 2 of each.

It's kind of sad to see a living being cut into pieces. How do people even eat them. I mean i could never do it as i always felt that i will be the reason for some animal dying.

nina rushes to get the pepper off the skinhypothetically what if someone. got some pepper on the skin? carla: i would tell them to eat it that way because i love pepper. nina sighs

Fish skin's underrated. It's like the bacon in the seaTrueeee but the chef needs to kniw how to do it and what fish goes well with it. Tastes awesome when it does tho

Okay, this was the best episode yet Nina Vannahing the fillet when she got it free, and the whole sneaking around after she peppered the skin side. Very entertaining.
