Bon Apptits Brad and Claire are back for a very special crossover episode (Part 1) of Its Alive. Claire says theyre making doughnuts with sourdough starter. Brads trying to make sourdoughnuts a thing. Who will win? You will: this episode had so many good Brad and Claire moments that we had to make it two parts. Correction, let's make that three parts. Join Bon Apptit Test Kitchen host Brad Leone on a wild, roundabout, and marginally scientific adventure exploring fermented foods and more. From cultured butter and kombucha, kimchi and miso, to beer and tepache, learn how to experiment with fermented and live foods yourself

It kinda makes me sad that they use Kitchen Aid mixers. There are some others for the same price that are so much better. They have better motors that last longer, are more reliable, are better made, are more accurate, the mixers themselves have better materials and even better fit and finish. They're just not as stylish.

I've been struggling with depression lately. I don't know why, but seeing these cooking videos helps me a lot. Recently I've started taking up cooking, because I love bringing friends and family together over it; and, this has helped bring me out of my funk. Thank you Bon Appetit You are all wonderful

qualifying somebody's knowledge that he shares with positive and helpful intentions as: tells me how to live my life and being as much on the high horse as ignores my expert advice sounds stinky a bit. just a thought, as I realise the western woman reactions.

Honestly, the fact that the producers left the wind on Brad's mic while he was fanning himself with the Cambro lid while Claire was talking about next steps in the recipe is a testament to the sheer understanding of their audience. Bada-bing

Claire: Sugar is a wet ingredient. Me: I'm sorry, what now? That statement alone told me how little I know about baking. Never been a fan of it, as it's too exact for my liking. But hey, the more you know right

Whenever I watch bread videos like this, I always give big props to our ancestors who came up with these recipes before modern electricity & conveniences who then had to mix ALL of this stuff BY HAND Wow.

I love Brad and Claire. I love how he gets the brunt of her frustration in her videos. Hes the only one she's rude to. I live for him pushing her buttons. Brad is someone's dad? I bet hes fun.
