New Orleans - Oyster Po Boys - It's a simple regional specialty that relies on very few ingredients. Lightly seasoned, pan fried oysters on fabulous french baguette bread with a bit of shredded iceberg lettuce, maybe a sauce (dressed) and you can add a dash of hot sauce (Crystal was on every table as I recall) without insulting the chef. I can personally vouch for Fiorella's, Mother's, and especially Verte Mart.

Montreal is such a great city; one of my favorites in the world. Great choices for poutine, as well. I love that you stopped at Marche Jean-Talon, which is a go-to every time I'm in town, as well as St. -Viateur Bagel. Next time you're in Montreal, be sure to stop by Stefano Faita's place in Little Italy, Impasto. Fantastic food (he also co-owns Chez Tousignant, to give you a sense of the quality. Amazing.

I am still fascinated at how many people believe he really did ate 11 poutines. He shows up, take a bite or two, describe it, hand the poutine over to the team once the camera is pur away, team eat the rest. At luch he and all the team have a full one each. Sorry to break your bubble yall. still fascinated at how much people believe at our craft (I work in cinema) even tho we all know it aint real.

You stopped by the Lafleur in my neighbourhood in Verdun The beauty of Lafleur is that they're all franchised so every single one has some sort of slight variation. It just so happens that the one you went to is my favourite spot (perhaps out of proximity, but I'm willing to put the title on the line and try out Chez Claudette.

I had poutine in NYC and it was crap. Turns out they used only chicken gravy. In the Toronto Airport on the foreign side, I ate beef gravy poutine at the only place I was allowed to go without having a different ticket to go into the canadian side. it blew that NYC crap away. beef gravy poutine 4 LYFE

When is Alex's birthday? I'm going to ship him an engraved and hand-forged fork, knife, and spoon for him to take with him on his travels. He needs a kit of utensils the assistants are forced to wash between each visit to a new eatery. I'm tired of seeing him use white plastic.

Saskatchewan's outstanding LITTLE COUNTRY GRILL located in the town of Victoire, SK (adjacent to Morin Lake Regional Park and Debden, SK) is a Family Style Restaurant that's our favorite place to go for poutine and more.

It seems irresponsible to do stunt eating and you don't get much vibe of the locations. Maybe some people like this, but it is a really wasted opportunity to get to know the neighborhoods, the restaurant, and the quality of the food.

As a Montrealar I can tell you most of these places serve really good poutine (pronounced poo-tsin, my go to place is La belle province since it's closest to my house (it's a chain, I load it up with hot chilly powder and I'm good

If you want the best poutine, your first mistake is staying in Montreal. The poutine was invented in small-town Quebec. Get out there and see real places. What a pompous way to shoot an episode. I expected more out of BA
