I'm Asian American and feel like if you have 5 generations in the USA, you really shouldn't be called African-American anymore, just American. I think in the 3rd and possibly 4th generation you would still get some of your motherland culture but after 5 generations your identity is 100% American only. This food looks yummy, will definitely check it out next time I'm in Shaolin.

Wow I'm in heaven, I just happened to stumble upon this and I was so amazed, this look better than Sylvia's and that's what I'm used to going on 125th Street in Harlem to Sylvia's for years and years and now I'm taking a back to this. wow

Hah, having a break/nap in the middle of the day like that. Reminds me of one of my best friends - super-productive in the morning, has a nap, then she's productive again in the evening. I've tried it a few times myself, it's pretty nice.

Obviously no health standards. Wearing a jumper where anything can fall off it. No hairnet, so you will probably get loose hairs floating everywhere. everywhere. I wouldnt eat there. You dont know what your eating.

When steeped in water like tea, soursop leaves are a sleep aid. I'm Trini and I've never seen anyone cook with it before this video, what does it do when used as a seasoning as this chef has done here

I hope the pink salt she's referring to in the mac and cheese is that Himalayan pink salt, not curing salt used for bacon/corned beef etc. Getting careless with that stuff is dangerous.

Please do not put soursop leaves in food! Soursop contains Annonacin which is a neurotoxin and has been associated with parkinson's disease.
