Im making a sticky date cake for a birthday on Sunday, does anyone know - for the caramel dripping down the sides of the cake, it has be quite thick so that it doesnt just dribble down the cake, like how shes decorating the cake in this video, is it just normal caramel (water-sugar-cream-vanilla) or do you need to make a thicker caramel? Thanks

This Cake is so pretty I tried making a Dulce de leche from scratch and used your exact technique over a stabilized whipped cream - the cake sat over might in the fridge. My drips looked exactly like this then it was a mess afterwards why?
