Ok. I need a British English to American English translation of baking paper (I've also heard her use grease-proof paper) are these the equivalent of what I would call parchment paper (paper impregnated with silicone used as a non-stick baking surface)

There are certainly things in the US that I could compare this to but nothing quite like it. And when you say Flapjacks here it pretty much means the same thing as pancakes.

So in the US we use the names pancakes and flapjacks interchangeably. BUT this recipe is much more like a granola bar or some would call this particular one a monster bar
