Merry Christmas, June! Those gingerbread cookies looked so soft and delicious. I have never made them before but would love to try when I am off this weekend. I am making a gingerbread cake with cream cheese frosting for Christmas and want to decorate it with my own gingerbread cookies. I am just feeling so festive haha

I don't know what I did wrong the batter was very sticky stuck to the parchment paper. The flavor was amazing just upset that I missed something. The dough never harder even left in the freezer. Didn't hardest after baking it. It was soft like cake.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I tried these and they were DELICIOUS even before icing - the orange zest is soooo essential it gave a light flavour!
I also chilled it 30 mns in the freezer instead of 2 hours in the fridge and it worked perfectly well
