Delish Test Kitchen Manager, June, shows you how to make a chocolate buche de noel (also called a yule log) for your Christmas parties PJL: Beautiful cake and I love June's presentation. One nitpicking thing though. I have noticed that June tends to measure liquid ingredients (such as vanilla) in the measuring spoon OVER the mixing bowl. That really is a basic mistake. If you slip and spill, you are dumping it into the bowl. Much safer to measure away from the bowl and then dump. (This comes from a baker with over 55 years experience)
