Go to where Mexicans actually live in the DMV. Taqueria La Placita in Riverdale for starters, Riverdale also has probably the most authentic tasting panaderia outside Mexico; La Flor De Puebla, I'll admit with the abundance of Salvadorans in the Washington DC region it is harder to locate traditional Mexican. but hard working and hungry Mexicans exist in the area. Where do they go out to eat Not here at this Mexican womans restaurant in Capitol Hill it just screams pomp and no substance. Money grabs rub me the wrong way. Especially considering luxury Mexican cuisine is being saturated in DC in the last 10 years. El Presidente in Union Market neighborhood very close to this restarant is a better more affordable entry into upscale Mexican food.

When we talk about Isabel, my mom always remembers when she was little and we all where at our grandma’s, all the grownups where out in the morning and when we woke up hungry she made us all breakfast (no one ask her to do so, but she was a kidddd, cooking for all her cousins, so yeah, she was meant to be one of the greatest chefs

So, they make Mexican food Is it because it’s a woman of color that she is being featured I noticed there’s no trans representation or AA representation. How dare you.

She said it smells like a tortilleria, not a tortilla. It's like the difference between saying it smells like a bakery versus just like bread.

You guys might want to find a new place for your restaurant. Because there won't be anybody left in DC after Trump gets office.
