would be more interested in how makers mark was able to trademark the dripping wax despite it being a historical practice to wax bottles thus preventing any competitors from waxing their own bottles without an extra step to remove the drips for fear of a big lawsuit

Had a chance to visit this Distillery a few years a go. Beautiful buildings and a really nice tour.
After leaving there, we had lunch at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

Interesting how they use lake water, not just city water. I am sure that water is filtered, but no doubt that water plays a big part of the flavor.
