Works with gluten-free flour too! Exactly rolling out while cooking, you only need to flip once, on a bit lower temp, like pancakes, keeping assembly line out of unnecessarily ridiculous chaos when working solo dolo. Didn't cover, but I only used water; thanks to you, I'll certainly be switching that up!
Got seriously addicted to those Chinese green onion pancakes awhile back, and why I only flip once I guess, lol. So far so good.

Are there multiple typo's in the recipe on the allrecipes web site that he linked to? The recipe says 1 tsp of Yogurt but he used what looked like maybe 1 cup of Yogurt in the video? The recipe also calls for 4 cups of crushed garlic. something is wrong here: )

Great video chef. I have just been researching how to make Naan recently. You must be looking at my view history: )
Thank you for this. I had never seen anyone roll the garlic and green onions into the dough this way.
Much easier!
Happy cooking,
UB

I did this with just flour and yogurt and salt one time and it still came out great and I didn't use baking powder or rest the dough or anything, and it still came out pretty nice. I brushed garlic butter on it.

I have used a very similar recipe for years. The upside is that yogurt gives a silken quality to the dough. The downside is you lose flaky layers. I use garlic power instead of fresh to make it a little less biting.

This reminds me of the simplest flatbread recipe. Self-Rising flour + any milk product (cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, cream cheese, whatever) enough to form a dry dough. Roast in a dry pan. That's it.

Chef John, the recipe in the link has at least 2 errors. It calls for 1 teaspoon of yogurt and 4 cups of crushed garlic. I'm sure you will hear from others who have noticed the same thing.

Your garlic naan recipe is a favorite so I definitely want to try this one. Would you confirm the amount of greek yogurt? The written recipe states 1 teaspoon but that can't be right!

I make naan this exact way (without the green onion) very often. I also use it for a quick pizza crust that's better than any frozen pizza, as I can put it on a stone!

When I tap on the link to get to the printable recipe it's telling me a half a teaspoon of Greek yogurt and four cups of crushed garlic. I know that's not right
