A classic disaster, 3 best friends where each of them believe the other two are great and oneself is amazing. Without real knowledge of anything. Without actually challenge one another. When owners are best friends, for a hotel you get a skilled hotel manager and a skilled restaurant manager (who knows both the service and the kitchen (which is most important, and for a restaurant you get a great chief chef and a skilled restaurant manager. The owners are supposed to work hard and give overall directions but should not become managers. If the owners are dissatisfied with the managers they hired, that is their own err, why did they hire them in the first place? Or did the owners fail to give clear directions? Or was the clear directions bad in the first place? But do not blame the guys you hired because it was you who hired them, as owners.

Everything that comes out of the window is a great product. 3: 56 You know, thats the first time that Ive eaten the escargot5: 20 Ive never had the lamb shank before. I do not like lamb. 5: 38 Im totally embarrassed that our food is this quality. Ive always thought that it was better. How did he ever come to the conclusion that their food was excellent without actually trying any of it? The mind boggles.

That waiters a snake. Immediately blames the chef, yet doesnt responsibility as head waiter and owner, to taste the dishes hes supposed to recommend and comment on. How can you run a restaurant if you dont know if the food is any good? That aside, I bet Gordon makes himself Employee Of The Month in all of his restaurants. And no one dares correct him.

They should reserve the term restaurant by law for establishments that actually have a qualified head chef in the kitchen. Most of the chefs on this show dont appear to have any training whatsoever

ive been to this hotel many times. Its got a fabulous bar inside. Its a really beautiful hotel. The town its in is called Murphy. its in California. Great town, lots of wine and restaurants
