A great spring recipe, and a perfect way to serve this prime cut of beef. Season the steak well with garlic, pepper, salt and rosemary and make sure the pan is sizzling hot before cooking. Delicious. ketmaniac: Sydenhams chorea (SC, also known as chorea minor and historically referred to as St Vitus dance, is a disorder characterized by rapid, uncoordinated jerking movements primarily affecting the face, hands and feet. (Wiki. Its a common complaint amongst cameramen, especially on cooking shows, and most especially Gordon Ramsays cooking shows. For them, keeping still is impossible. You can see things, but only as tantalizing glimpses, a blur of colour as the camera swipes left, then right then left again. Also those cameramens eyesight is so defective that they need to be an inch from whatever theyre pointing at. Magnification x 100. The only time they wont do that is when there is something going on that you REALLY need to see. Like when the cook says a bit of Dijon mustard, youre watching closely because youd like to know how much Dijon mustard is a bit. But thats when the camera will definitely be pointing at something else, usually the cooks face, so you can study its lines and furrows and trenchmarks - like those in the face of a sad, elderly bloodhound who hasnt had any work since Sherlock Holmes died.

Holy smoke, could it have been filmed a little faster, as this video was sooo boringly slow Yawn Okay quit the sarcasm and seriously; one has to look very close to follow the procedure of peeling the artichokes. Rib-eye is one of my favourite meats so I could follow Ramsays timeline of oil in the pan, salt and pepper on rib-eye, rib-eye in pan (must sizzle of course, add rosemary and garlic in pan. Turn rib-eye after 1 side is nicely brown, other side baking, add butter and pour spoons full of melted butter over rib-eye. Done Time depends on how you want your steak rare, medium or well done brrr

Every time you hear that music playing you know its bad news that its probably directed by Olivier Megaton or edited by Camille Delamarre. Okay Im kidding they didnt make these videos but it really feels like that with the editing and cinematography you cant even focus on the recipe while watching it. Probably best to read a recipe for more details on how to make it.

The artichoke looks amazing. Im not a fan of butter on steak, especially a ribeye full of its own fat. its like those burger joints that put butter on a burger and butter on the buns, Im full in like 5 bites, its gross

I watch so many addictive videos of Gordon cussing indignantly at clueless people, that its nice to balance it with one of his positive, upbeat instructional videos now and again.

Heres my question. On Hells Kitched he yells at his chefs when they let the cooked meat rest. When do you let it rest and when do you not let it rest?

Unwatchable. Whoever edited this should be fired. For anyone who has epilepsy, stay away from this video, the editing and jerky camera will cause a fit.

I thought mr perfect was gonna spin the steak around and do something special with it. thats it? Olive oil and butter. Seems kinda bland to me.

So you refrigerate to ease cutting but then do you wait again after portioning to get to room temp before seasoning like when usually cooking steak?
