How to make Korean style seasoned raw beef. The full recipe is on my website: Ingredients (for 4-6 servings): 380 grams (18 OZ) filet minon (tenderloin, Korean pear, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, black ground pepper, salt, pine nuts, roasted sesame seeds, endive (or lettuce. Steak Preparation: 1. Rinse filet minon under a little cold running water and dry with paper towel. 2. Wrap it in a cotton cloth and keep it in the freezer for 1 hour. 3. In a bowl, add 2 cups of water and 1 tbs sugar. Stir it well. 4. Peel a Korean pear and cut it into thin matchsticks (about 3-4 cups. 5. Soak the pear strips in the bowl for 5 minutes. Then drain and set aside Make sauce: 1. Finely mince a dozen cloves of garlic. Put into a mixing bowl with 1 tbs soy sauce, 1 tbs honey (or 2 tbs brown sugar, 1/4 ts salt, 2 tbs sesame oil, and a pinch of ground black pepper. Mix well. Put it together: 1. Take the beef out of the freezer. Cut it into thin matchsticks, and mix with the seasoning sauce tip: you can add green lettuce on pear strips 2. theshincp If we were in Germany you could use raw pork, or raw chicken in Japan, but in America it will make you sick because of meat standards which are different wherever you go. America has pretty safe beef, so it's your best bet. Always get it from a butcher, or really upscale meat store, if eating raw.

The only reason beef would be unsafe to eat is if it wasn't kept properly, so if you get it fresh and follow the video instructions you will be fine. Also, it depends on your stomach how much raw meat you can eat without getting a stomachache, so don't eat more than recommended portions.

mmm i want to try raw beef! ive had it before at a japanese restaurant, but the sides of it was cooked-- so not entirely raw.
but yummy korean style, do i have to find fresh cut filet mignon and freezing it stops bacteria?

If you do you can cook the surface of it just enough so its browned because most of the evil little germs are on the surface of the meat.
That's why you can't have a medium rare hamburger

it's really raw meat? Ouu.
can i change the beef with another kind of meat like fish or chicken? it's still okay?
why we must keep the beef at refrigirator in one hour?

There was a time when I used to be turned off by too much garlic. but when it comes to eating it mixed with raw beef. yeah, please be generous with garlic

emilyhf3 yes, check my grilled beef recipe on my website. I posted ssamjang (dipping sauce made with soy bean paste, hot pepper paste)recipe there.

yuk-hoe means raw meat
It's for meat-mania and should be a high quality meat.
So if U heated it, it's not hoe(raw) but something like a bulgogi

well I guess the meat has to be fresh for a reason lol I love eating sushi, but I'm kinda afraid of raw meat, but I'm sure it tastes heavenly: o
