Hi chef Deveaux i think that you have committed a little mistake at this video. The Title say 6 crazy cooking tricks, but the video show only 5 (five, and that is because at 1: 33 comes the trick number 3, but in sequence there is no trick number 4, as you see at 2: 36 jumps to the trick number 5. Maybe in the video editing you forgot to place the trick number 4. Well. btw the video content still wonderful.

These are cool, but none of these have to do with cooking. Two of the tricks aren't even food items. I'm not trying to be negative, just pointing out a thing I noticed. Cool video though. I enjoy your content and maybe one day, I can try out some of these sushi recipes.

I m gonna use that banana trick next time I can t find a butter knife or a spoon/fork handle or my hands are broken (Maybe they got run over by a bus or unfortunate garbage disposal incident) and I can t pull it apart or maybe just a good old fashion OCD attack strikes me

Is peeling apple is so difficult? it takes more time to find the driller at home then plug it to electricity then attach it to the apple then bring a peeler. during all this time I think if I had peeled it by a knife even it would be digested in my stomach.

I've heard the blender trick for red wine, and the drill/pepper grinder (Thank you Alton Brown) But Power Tools in the Kitchen is a Great Idea! :) I know paint stirring bits get used sometimes too, but not too many tools have made their way to the kitchen.

Nice video! but shouldn't hacks be for make life easier? I mean to cut a banana you need the oven rack? and what about the tools? Seems easier just the regular steps. The only one I liked is the first one, either way the rest or your vids are great!

Am I really viewing this. So let's push a banana through a wire rack and the mess that causes because using a knife is so damned difficult. And aerating wine in a blender because swirling in a glass again is so bloody hard. But the apple one I liked.
