GROCERY HAUL I make chicken sandwiches for lunch Glad you explained about the plastic bags. We never see those bags where I live. It's all reusable or paper bags. I'm glad you recycle them at home but just to be clear it's about eliminating them from landfill and hopefully the planet. These types of plastic bags are discarded far too much in places and areas that can cause danger to wildlife and obviously add to pollution.

I absolutely love HEB, but I'm biased, since I'm from Falfurrias and currently living in Corpus Christi. Don't really care for any other supermarket, Wal-Mart is the bane of my existence, lol. When I lived in Falfurrias I'd shop at HEB and go to Cantu's market for my custom butchered meat and good cheese. Like the bolillos as the bread choice, by the way. :)

I'm glad you gave us permission to treat ourselves. I don't know about any other chunky monkeys out there, but I feel guilty every time I eat anything sweet. Like I know I'm not supposed to be eating it but sometimes it just tastes good. I ate some ice cream today for the first time in months and then immediately felt bad about it.

Would love to see Korean cooking recipes thank you Angelica for the grocery hall. You did really well and got quite a bit for the money spent. Literally it feels like we get so little for our buck here in CA. SO ANNOYING! Wish we had an H. E. B! Loved shopping at HEB when I lived in TX. Blessing to you and the family

I wish my itty bitty HEB would keep the fruit and veggie section this aesthetically pleasing! I love the bakery section in the big city HEBs. everything is delish!
Lifelong Texan, I could never stray from shopping at HEB
Thanks for showing us what your grocery trip looked like!
Blessings to you!

I love my HEB here in Austin, one of the many perks of living in TEXAS! I love the HEB butter & flour tortillas. I will have to try the Bacon Jam on the sandwiches. Thank you Anjelica for sharing your meal recipes with us. Congrats on your 10 years on You tube!

Hi Angelica. I also have a son with Autism and the struggle with food aversions is real. The Queen Anne cherries are so nostalgic for me My grandmother loved them and I buy them every year and think of her when I eat them. Love your videos.

Since we don't have HEB my daughter will shop for me and bring it home when she visits. Going to add Bacon Jam for her next trip! I'm very excited about this video since I'm getting lots of future grocery items. Yum on the sandwich! Thank you!

Yes to Korean recipes. Also if it were me, I would’ve shopped for the sandwich ingredients and still drive thru Jersey Mike’s/Jimmy John’s because I would be too lazy to make anything when I get home from grocery shopping!

I don’t know anything about Korean food but I would love to what h you cook and hear your explanations of what and why of that type of cooking. By the way, I love yourdon’t judge me attitude! I live by that!

OOH, I've never tried the Sugar Bombs. I grew Flavor Bombs and Lolli Bombs from HEB tomatoes I sprouted. The Lolli Bombs were exemplary. They also produced tomatoes until our first freeze at the end of December.

Hello A! I enjoyed shopping with you. That's one thing I do not like to do. Wish I could find them rolls around my town. Your Sandwich looks very delish. Oh yes, I like all the Asian recipes you make. Great video.

I love watching you make korean food for your family. For some reason watching you cook asian gives me more confidence that I too can make korean food. I am very intimidated by watching korean chefs.

I love that seasoned chicken skin too!
Those sandwiches look marvelous. Thank you for taking us shopping with you. H. E. B. is one of the things I miss most since we moved from Texas years ago.

Yes I agree about onions! I have to have more than a full bag of onions or I don't feel prepared to cook! Onions are the flavour also always feel I need a bag of lemons at all times too lol

I would like to see more of your Korean cooking. I make my own spring rolls and egg rolls and Pokeball and things like that. I'm always open to new recipes both local and International.
reply

I’m down to see more Korean recipes but not looking forward to the comments by Koreans who will claim it’s not authentic enough. Don’t worry, I’ll push back for ya. Keep it up.
