My go to quick n dirty tuna salad is a can of albacore tuna, tablespoon or two of dill relish, tablespoon or two of avocado mayo to wet it just enough, onion and garlic powder, black pepper, sometimes a bit of chili powder and/or smoked paprika, mix good, spoon onto a slice of crispbread (rye is my fave) with a slice or two of cheese, maybe melt it in the microwave for a few seconds, then chow down. Quick, easy, cheap, delicious, and nutritious. :)
Your seasoned crackers look good, too, but sadly I have to limit carbs. :)

I have never seen anything like this! You're brilliant. I'm definitely making this tuna recipe, you wouldn't happen to know how to make a California style carne asada burrito would you, when I lived in Cali, they had the best burritos in the world, I live in Ohio and can't find anyone that makes them like Cali did. Thanks for recipes, your different.

These are some great ideas. I'm totally going to try your elevated cracker recipe. I love me a can of tuna and a sleeve of saltine crackers. I love tuna with mayo and sriracha and lots of pepper with saltine crackers, so easy so delicious. Also love tuna with mayo and fresh lemon juice and lots of pepper, once again so easy so delicious. yum yum yum

I pretty much do my tuna salad the same way for tuna melt sandwiches, never thought of seasoning crackers like that though! The cucumber n lime juice sounds amazingly refreshing. I'm definitely trying that! A thermos of it for work would probably be great especially for hot days! Might even try it with cane sugar instead of granulated.

Those look fabulous! An oil sprayer that also pours has been such a boon in my kitchen. A good olive oil would probably be just as good as butter. Mixing the dry ingredients together would distribute your flavors more consistently.
I love lots of veggies in my tuna salad. Colorful bell peppers are pretty and flavorful.

That tuna looks so good! Is that the type of tuna Subways and delis use, chunk white It always tasted too fishy in my opinion. I have 2 cans that someone bought by mistake in the kitchen now and I just may try them. I noticed you didn't add boiled eggs, is that a cultural thing

i eat sardines often, i think i prefer them to tuna. i like chopped steamed cabbage in tuna/chicken/egg/sardine/salmon salad, adds texture/fiber and just stretches the recipe with cheap, nutritious, low-calorie filler, though i do also genuinely enjoy the taste/texture

Parchment paper is so much easier to lay out if you first crumple it up like you're balling it up to throw away, but then spread it out again and it behaves much better when you're fitting it into your pans or dishes, etc. No more trying to roll back up into a tube.

I've made these fire crackers and you need to put them in a zip lock bag to coat them well! I use Avocado Oil for healthy fats. You don't need all the Sat fat in Butter plus all the carbs in crackers is a big No! Stay Healthy and Happy!

Yes! I make the poor mans ceviche to dip my chips. I'm allergic to some of the stuff you used, but even with just tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice and tajin. heavenly! Sometimes I want crunch but not chips so I add cabbage instead.

I love FireCrackers. The first time I ever had them, I kept making trips back to the container all day long. Another time a coworker made them and I tore them up in shameful ways. I don't know if I left very many for anyone else.

What brand tuna you buy. There several different kind of tuna. Not all tuna good. I couldn’t see the name of brand tuna as your thumb covered the name of the brand made from the company. It’s not Star Krista Chuck Tuna.

Here’s my tuna recipe and I don’t measure. Tuna seasoned with Old Bay, dill, salt and pepper. Blue Plate mayo (the best mayo) a few squeezes of lemon juice, finely diced celery, onion, and hard boiled eggs.

I know you are a great cook because you don’t measure, you taste, you add. I love the fact you use stuff you already haveI love it! I’m going to try this tuna and cracker recipe, it looks amazing! .

I'm amazed every time I catch you that we eat the same kinds of things, if not exact. You just like more heat than I do, but it is always so close and also a reminder of variations I could try. Thanks.

I add diced onion, diced hardboiled egg and sweet relish with some mayo and Dijon mustard to my tuna salad. Never thought about adding any spices to my crackers. I'll give that a go next time.

Tuna on Triscuits is next level. I also cube some Monterrey Jack cheese on the side with some fruit. We call it Carpet Picnic. because we eat it on the floor on front of the TV.

I love tuna (with mayo and pickle relish) on crackers) This is a must have food for long storage, for emergencies Damn girl I never knew about these crackers, those are the bomb!
reply

If you use Starkist yellow fin tuna in extra virgin olive oil mayo is not needed as the olive oil provides much cleaner and more delicious fat. Also no draining the tuna needed.
