i work evenings, the freezer-prepped burritos sound like a great idea for something fast when I get out of work! I'm definitely going to try something like that when I get paid again.
also, those glass storage bowls are awesome, right I got some for my household last christmas so we could get rid of (almost) all of our mismatched plastic ones! We still have a few big plastic ones for baked goods or large items, though.

I'm part of a small group cooking for 60 or more people x 2 nights once per year. I bring at least one dish suitable for each night. I've cooked my beans, added bacon & chorizo. Then froze this in several containers. I'm going to throw in some more jalapenos or a couple of serrano's per container. I cook them always with one or the other but never thought to add them after cooking. Thanks!

Love beans. With cheese on a burrito is my favorite. Here in CO we have Del Taco and I feel they have the best then most fast food restaurants. When we go out I just have to stop and buy a few with green sauce. I buy one of their churros and I already have some coffee. So good. This recipe looks so good, will try it, thank you.

I want some soft homemade flour tortillas. I’m in Southern California. I go all the way to San Diego to get them and I wanna know how to make them and I’m not good at doing this. I know I can’t do it. It’s gonna take me a couple of times to do what you’re doing. Is there anywhere I could get them in LA meanwhile

I just now finished making these. Because I live in Las Vegas, and it’s very dry here, I used 1-1/4 cups of HOT water. Nothing stuck to my counter This was my first ever attempt. Things can only get better. My shapes aren’t the best, I think I need to practice rolling thinner, but they certainly taste good

What's funny is that I love all kinds of beans, except for black beans to me they always have a bitter after taste no matter what brand or who cooks them. I was actually shocked I didn't like them especially since they are healthy for you. Does anybody know how to eliminate the bitter after taste

This gringa married into a Mexican family many years ago and overnight I was living in eastside San Antonio and learning how to make tortillas and keep the perpetual pot of beans going. This takes me back & inspires me to keep the needed ingredients on hand for when I have a craving. Thanks!

I looooove freezer prep ideas so much! I think I am expected to have a serious operation at some point this year where I won't be able to cook and clean, and having some fiber and protein packed freezer prep goods is so useful, thank you so much.

You are making me so Hungry. I can’t wait to try these recipes. My mother can no longer make homemade tortillas at age 86 and my grandmother has long passed on. Your recipes are so much like their cooking I remember. I can’t wait to try them.

Looks delicious it would be nice to have food in the freezer that we can just pop in the air fryer for lunch! I'll have to try making the tortillas again. How do you make them so round tho Yours are perfect! Probably made them zillions of times

All that work you put into those burritos and you STILL paid more for them, its kinda crazy because it used to be the opposite. we used to save money by doing it ourselves. now its like we are penalized and forced to eat CRAP!

Your flour tortilla recipe is chef's kiss! Also the refried beans you nailed it, so amazing. Never made either before and I felt like I've been making them forever. Your recipe and style is so easy to follow. Thank you

Thanks so much. Those burritos look delicious.
I’m conditioned by the restaurant Chipotle and am therefore surprised you don’t put rice and lettuce, cilantro, etc. Yours still look really good.

Your husband is a lucky man. Great cook, and I would bet you keep a clean house, too.
I asked you about a restaurant style salsa video a while back, so I hope you get the time to make one.

When I was a poor and hungry student at UT, Taco Bell's $. 39 bean burritos kept me full for cheap. They are still one of my favorite Tex Mex foods and I make them often at home.
