You're Welcome Mark! I’m deeply touched and grateful that you visited my country to showcase our unique street food culture. It’s amazing to see you explore the vibrant markets, taste traditional dishes like zebu skewers, and interact with local vendors. Your enthusiasm highlights the rich culinary traditions of Madagascar that we are so proud of, and I’m excited that more people around the world can now see and appreciate the flavors and hospitality of our beautiful island!

Antananarivo’s way of having morning coffee has Starbucks beat! The huge, I guess you called them bladders The huge bladders of coffee. The way the street vendors make your coffee for you. Having an actual coffee cup. The way everyone stands around the vendor enjoying their morning coffee. So different than ordering your coffee online and then grabbing it on your way into work and then mindlessly drinking it as you drive to work.

You could tell he didn't like the rice just by itself and was just dying to fill it up with sauces and meat. Most of those other guys just ate it as is without adding anything else. Its pronounced MADIGASCER. Not GASCAR. You don't emphasise the CAR at the end.

The plane on my trip to Mauritius stopped at Madagascar and unfortunately we couldn't tour the island but had to sit in the plane for over an hour, almost two, whilst it was refueling, but thanks Mark for the awesome tour and the street food culinary experience

13: 50 Mmmmmn, those griddles look so sanitary. That's one of the great things about street food in this region of the world, never have to worry about those pesky Food Safety Inspectors showing up unannounced and shutting down your whole program.

You are an excellent global ambassador. Regardless of the country, you consistently inspire me to explore the local culture, meet the people, and savor the cuisine. Luckily I live in Los Angeles and we have so many different cultures to enjoy

Wow, I’m watching your first stop of the day as they fry the fattiest bacon I’ve ever seen in lard! I admit that my eyebrows go up in surprise when I see this. But at the same time, I want to taste it!
