Thai Fair Street Food: SUBSCRIBE for more: T-shirts: Today I’m giving you a full tour of one of the best buffets in Thailand! Copper Beyond Buffet is a huge buffet, very famous in Thailand, for serving gourmet and luxury foods, but for an affordable price. How do they do it We’re going on a full tour, we’ll see behind the scenes of how they maintain their quality, service, and variety. And then of course, we’ll eat as much food as we can. Everyday you’ll find 130 different dishes, and this location 1, 200 people eat here per day. It’s an international buffet, with many traditional and elevated Thai dishes, Japanese, French, and Western dishes. Some of the highlights at the buffet for me were the smoked prime rib, the wagyu boat noodles, and the fresh oysters and cocktail shrimp. One of the reasons they are able to keep the price affordable and maintain a high level of quality is that the entire buffet is not run like a traditional buffet. Instead it’s run like a fine dining restaurant, so big portions of food are never cooked. Instead they cook small plates, made to order. This maintains quality, but also reduces waste. If you like buffets, when you’re in Bangkok, Thailand, eating at Copper Beyond Buffet is a must! Copper Beyond Buffet: Price and weekdays: 1, 359 THB ($40. 99) Price on weekends (with prime rib): 1, 499 THB ($45. 21) Follow on

1. $50 Seems cheap to tourists but for the Baht earning citizen its definitely on the pricey side of things. (Remember the minimum wage here is $10 per day)
2. Westerners may have their theme parks but Thais have food theme park equivalent.
3. This is definitely worth a visit. Their food probably is 70-80% of actual authentic street food taste (way better than typical hotel buffets) but low risk of food poisoning. Suited for tourists with low immune stomachs.

I don't like buffets but this is one I would eat at least once a month! Perfect portions, premium ingredients, and best of all they bring it to you! This is like a 5 star steak, seafood, Italian, Asian piece of heaven! I was starving watching this one and had to replay. Loved this one Mark thank you.

Just wondering, does the almost raw wagyu and smoked prime rib taste similar to smoked salmon. meaning does the meat have that bloody taste or clean tasting like the salmon that I ate in Mauritius. Me personally, I prefer my meat well done, NOT medium rare and bloody

Only Mark Weins could pull off that one bite marble rice ball and waygu! It's ( in my opinion) way yyyyyy too big to enjoy properly. All you'd be doing is trying to chew and swallow so you can breathe again. Doesn't make sense. Cut it into 4ths and it's still big.

Mark - My mouth is running water for this food that you are eating at the $50. 00 buffet! I wish that i could step through this computer to get there to have some of these delicious dishes. This restaurant is awesome! Excellent video

What’s the sense of importing 60k croissants the month from France While there are so many bakeries in TH doing same or better stuff Especially knowing that croissants have nothing absolutely nothing to do with France

Hi Mark Wiens, what happened to the Mauritius and Madagascar videos Are they over or will they continue We only saw one video from Madagascar, while Mauritius videos seems to be not yet finished.

I never understood why you guys, opal, Gary butler is taking so long to video log this. It’s been known quite long but I was surprised food bloggers like yourself didn’t try this earlier.

I've been in restaurant business for over 50 years, there's no way they can make money on this $50 (US) buffet unless a healthy dose of money laundering boost, still its a win for the customers.

Getting excited, eyes wide, talking fast, pointing at the food you just took a bite of, scraping your plate after a bite,
really WEIRD, Wiens, really WEIRD WEIRD WIENS

You've got to love the porn music when the prime rib is sliced. I was a little surprised at that, given that Mark is a pretty upstanding religious man. LOL. Maybe he has a hidden joke or two

I'm glad I had dinner before watching this. But I would devour that prime rib in a heartbeat if it was in front of me.
I can't believe the cost of this buffet. That's incredible.

Watching this video I'm reminded of the famous bit that the large, late comedian John Pinette did about all you can eat Chinese buffets and how much he would've loved a place like this.

That’s is disgusted, that is raw. How many times experts of food says meat should be well done. That’s why there are so many people sick with cancer. That is not good food.
reply

i have been eaten at this restaurant for 7-8 time.
For me quality never drop. Prime rib is absolutly delicious and also Truffle soup is the best ever that i have ever tested.

reply

Wow interesting, not very good hygiene/food standards they cook the beef, lamb and seafood all on the same grill in the same spot. That's a big no-no in the restaurant industry.
reply

Wow. my friends are trying to make me give up meat but after watching this thai rib heaven the only thing I can think of is how to book a december holiday in this inviting place!
reply

We're struggling between going here and Cuisine Unplugged at the Pullman when we visit Bangkok in December. Could you go try out their unlimited crab buffet to help us decide
