It is one of life’s mysteries that Mark manages to stay as thin as a Champion Racing Greyhound. I have my suspicions- he has an huge auxiliary stomach or a giant tapeworm - but his food descriptions are fantastic & meticulous. He eats beautifully and neatly, respects the culture. He is friendly and kind to everyone. My husband thought he must be micro dosing he’s so up beat and positive, but he’s doing what he loves with his family and friends along with him. Living his dream. Also allergic to nothing, disliking nothing, willing to try anything. oh stingray, yes He’s a treasure to food. lovers like me
I wonder if he cooks himself

Who would've thought, Mark Wiens visited my birthplace Zamboanga. Glad that you've traveled to the Western part of Mindanao Philippines and tried some of the best/delicious food that Zamboanga has to offer & showcase the local cuisines of my people the Tausug. Hope you have great memories especially with the food & a comeback to bring alongside with some of your food vlogger friends.

Zamboanga has so many varieties of food to offer but it is very dangerous place for a foreigner to stay and live! Bandits and some lawless elements are still around like hungry wolves and kidnap for ransom activity is still around. Be extra careful!

I love seeing all the different food and don’t get me wrong but your reviews are always very similar and are starting to become monotonous. If you love everything there is no point to reviewing it. Just saying

Not being smart but the amount of food Mark eats should be like the chef size in this video at 25: 01 it just seems so un natural after all these years of him eating full time.

I noticed a few times that Mark didn't review all the dishes that were on the table. Just wondering if it was a time factor, or maybe dishes that he didn't especially like

Only thing is that Mindanao is dangerous for Americans. I am a proud Filipino and happy that that many more tourist come and discover Filipino cuisines and culture.

These cuisines from Mindanao should be introduced in Manila thru all these Filipino restaurants. I'm sure the Manilenos would love to try them after seeing these vlogs!

How can he eat chilli’s like that, one after another and not even break a sweat. I’m Indian and I eat spicy food but even I can’t do that. That’s amazing
