MOSCOW, RUSSIA - First time in Russia, and I was very excited to be in Moscow, and go on an ultimate Russian food tour of Moscow. Get ready to eat everything from a sturgeon cooked for the Russian Kings to the most epic beef stroganoff in Moscow on this ultimate Russian food tour. Big thank you to Dmitry from Value of the Moment for taking us around Moscow. Check him out for tours in Russia, especially in and around Murmansk. Heres where we ate in Moscow on this Russian food tour: Grand Cafe Dr. Jhivago - Located right across the street from the Red Square, this is a legendary cafe in Moscow. You immediately feel the luxury Russian style here - with its red and pure white interior. Food was delicious, and a great place for breakfast to get this Russian food tour started. 3, 430 RUB (53. 78) - Total price for everything Red Square and The Moscow Kremlin - Easily the most important and famous area of Moscow is the Red Square, home to the Moscow Kremlin. This is the center of the city, where all roads lead, and where the heads of Russian government live. Theres nothing like walking around the Red Square, and also seeing the amazing sight of St. Basil's Cathedral. Soviet Ice Cream and Stolovaya 57 - Located on the edge of Red Square is the GUM shopping mall and within the mall, youll find an old ice cream shop that serves an original Soviet recipe for ice cream. Its worth a stop and pretty good. Additionally, Stolovaya 57 is a Soviet food canteen and one of the budget food options at Red Square, Moscow. 665 RUB (10. 43) Cafe Pushkin - To contrast our Soviet meal, we then went to Cafe Pushkin, a luxurious Russian restaurant, and a symbol of a luxury home. The setting is incredible and the food and service lived up to its name. Here is where youll find one of the best versions of Russian beef stroganoff on earth, and a type of sturgeon (a sterlet) stuffed with crab that was a symbolic food of the Tsars of Russia - Russian Kings An amazing meal, fantastic service, and iconic restaurant. 10, 980 RUB (172. 15) - Total price Danilovsky Market - Moscow, Russia - Next up on this Russian food tour, we headed to Danilovsky Market, a large farmers market, to explore and we sampled some delicious pickles. Varenychna 1 - Soviet Restaurant - To end this Moscow food tour, we went to one more Soviet restaurant, this time, a Soviet style apartment. Again, food was delicious, with an array of dishes from around the former Soviet Union. Fun&Games: Mark when are you goingmto Jamaica? They have some of the best most unique food on earth. like jerk chicken, ackee, ox tail, etc(just have to get it from a good cook since not everyone in Jamaica can make real Jamaican food. I have had some nasty spiceless food in Jamaica from those claiming to cook jamacian food. Lol.

I read some of the comments and see ppl saying negative stuff like Russian food looks nasty. Unfortunately, I must say, you have to be close minded to say that Don't judge a book by its cover And, until you have tried it, don't say it looks nasty. Also, its unfortunate that Mark didn't get invited into a home for some real traditional Russian home cooked food. I'm sure the restaurant food was good, but I can definitely guarantee you that the best Russian food is when its cooked at home by the people that have been cooking it the traditional way their great grandparents were preparing it. Its unfortunate, but he definitely didn't get to try a lot of other Russian food Also, although I know Mark isn't a big fan of desserts, the beauty of Russian desserts is that they are never overly sweet and are usually made with real ingredients. Russian food may look simple, but there is an art of making it and the taste is just this warm home cooking that is hard to explain. You just have to try it to know what I'm talking about. Its kind of like Mark said in one part of the video, all the food matches. It's just the combination of ingredients that they use, they are paired well together and that is what makes it so amazing Anyways, to those who say it looks nasty, I say don't judge it until you have tried it. Otherwise, you are missing out, and well, you would never be able to do a job like Mark if you think that way. I think their is beauty and delicious foods in all cultures and I personally would love to try foods from all over the world as it's all so unique and different That is my dream and Mark is living it for sure He is definitely blessed to have a job like his and so grateful that he is at least able to share it with us who are not as fortunate to have a dream job like his.

I am so happy you are in Russia You have introduced your audience to a forgotten suppressed history of a world-wide civilization called Tartaria Those incredible buildings you were looking at were from the Tartarian culture. There are buildings all around the world like those in Russia, but most were destroyed by war, and purposely destroyed by many so-called World Fairs in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It's a rabbit hole worth investigating into. These magnificent structures were destroyed after these World Fairs. There are no blueprints anywhere to be found. Please research Tartaria And discover what a great culture it was.

Ive been watching you for a long time and Ive never commented on any of your videos. I wanted to leave you a comment letting you know that out of all of your videos, even out of the Brasil segment and Im brasilian. This Russian video is by far the best video youve ever made and your tour guide is also the best one youve ever had aside from the one in Brasil. He was sweet too but there was just a different feeling with your Russian tour guide. I really liked your dynamic with him. Hes funny, down to earth, personable, knowledgeable and courteous. Best video and best tour guide by far

Usually, no matter who, I never like to see or hear someone eating food. But you on another hand, you make it so cool and satisfying and interesting. I could eat an entire cow but if I choose to see a video from you I'd dream again to eat the food you eat. Maybe it's because you're very humble and respectful for any kind of food and everywhere you go. You are an amazing human being Keep making our mouths drooling.

Wow, what a really amazing video So full of contrasts, from a USD 10 lunch (which looked pretty good) in a simple restaurant to an amazing feast in a beautiful restaurant but quite expensive restaurant. I have been watching Marks videos for years, and I am still amazed everytime on how much he manages to eat.

Are any kosher/halal foods in Russia? I cannot eat any meat that has not been slaughtered according to Islamic/Jewish dietary laws. Also are there any Russian vegetarian dishes that I could try? No wine or alcohol for me either
