My family has been living right next to that banh xeo 46A place on Dinh Cong Trang ever since my dad and his siblings were kids, it may be one of the most popular banh xeo in Saigon but my family says that the quality of it has definitely gone downhill over the years because of it's success. Even so, I'm glad to see that you've been somewhere so close to home for me and enjoyed eating at a place that I grew up with. I stumbled across one of your videos and found your reactions every time you eat to be quite hilarious and loveable, everyone I've shown your videos to agrees Please keep doing what you do, I love the positivity, respect, and genuine passion that you express towards all cultures and it's food in each of your videos. Keep head tilting Mr. Wiens, don't listen to those haters who wish they could live your life, cause I sure wish I could

one thing i absolutely love about vietnamese cuisine is an emphasis on subtlety of flavors and freshness. the food is unique and surprisingly different from chinese food which involves a lot of stir fry. i personally prefer vietnamese nuoc mam fish sauce over chinese soy sauce any day. fish sauce is a much better and healthier alternative which lends a savory and complex component to most dishes unlike soy sauce. vietnamese cuisine = highly underrated. i love thai and chinese food but would never be able to eat them everyday as they tend to be more on the heavy and oily side. viet cuisine is actually more balanced as far as taste is concerned. just my opinion.

Mark, when u have a chance to visit Vietnam again, you should try this street food called banh trang tron or banh trang nuong. It's like a snack made from rice paper mixed with all kinds of good stuff. A lot if Vietnamese love it Also you should try bun dau mam tom. It's really delicious

my gosh, I miss Banh Xeo. Tried to make it here in UK but the quality obviously can't even be compared to the one there in VN. I must go back and eat it till I get sick of it for eternity. Thank you Mark for sharing this video (and torturing my stomach like this)

Banh xeo was my favorite dish I tried in Vietnam I also found it fascinating how every city and every restaurant had a different way to make it. I especially liked the one where there was an extra outer layer of rice paper, kept things together: )

Nothing wrong whatsoever with mark's head tilt That's his natural reaction to good food All those slating him should stop and consider how mark is doing us all a favor already. Ingrates looking for flaws to hate on. Shame. Keep up the great work mark.
