Get all the details about Ay-Chung Flour Rice Noodles here: Taipei Travel Guide for Food Lovers: 1: 57 Ay-Chung Flour Rice Noodles On Day 6 in Taipei, the time came for Yings sister to head back to Bangkok and so Ying and I also checked out of our hotel and though we didnt fly anywhere we brought Yings sister to the airport and moved to a new hotel. After checking out of our hotel I first wanted to make a quick stop at a famous Taiwanese street food restaurant called Ay-Chung, that specializes in serving flour noodles in a gravy sauce. The restaurant was located just a little walk from out hotel, and right next to Ximen station. We arrived to Ay-Chung at about 11 am, just after they opened, and already there was quite a crowd there eating around the shop. To order we had to go up to the front, place our order, and then they gave us a bowl of their famous oyster flour noodles. I first went over and added some chili, vinegar, and hot sauce to my bowl of noodles to enhance the flavor. The flour noodles at Ay-Chung are not legendary for no reason, they were actually quite tasty, with such a smokey flavor that it almost tasted like bacon. I can see why this Taiwanese street food is so popular and why many people in Ximending cant resist a bowl. 5: 58 Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport After having the rice flour noodles we headed over to our new hotel, which was called Homey House, and because we were too early to check in, we just dropped off our big bag and then continued on for the day. Everything took a little longer than expected, so we didnt have time for lunch, but instead we had to go straight to the airport to take Yings Sister. We ended up going to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in the same way as we had come - we took the high speed rail to Taoyuan station then took a shuttle bus to the airport. The journey took about 1 hour. 7: 46 Banqiao Station After dropping Yings sister at the airport, Ying and I decided to take the bus back to Taipei from the airport instead of the train, and also I wanted to get off at Banqiao station instead of going all the way to Taipei Main Station in order to go to the Lin Family Garden and Mansion. The bus ride took a bit longer than expected though, and when we got to Banqiao station, the mansion was about ready to close, so we had to cancel that plan. We were quite hungry by this time, and after walking around for a bit and not finding any food, we decided to go to the nearest 7-Eleven and I had a Taiwanese tea egg and a banana to hold me over. We arrived back to our hotel, check in, and then Ying and I went out to eat for dinner. But we made a separate video about dinner which Ill publish later. That was Day 6 of this Taiwan travel guide video series

Hey Mark. few things if you don't mind. 1)do you normally make that expression even when you eat your normal meal or is it just for the video? Coz that is what got me subscribing. It's amazing. 2) doesn't your partner get her mouth salivating due to probably you first eating new foods and with that food orgasm? Or is the other way round? 3) why do you still look skinny and veinous even though you seem to enjoy your food. a lot? Besides I'm a big fan and I still sometimes commit the rookie mistake of watching your videos when I'm hungry and have nothing to eat. And you're having it all. Good job man keep it up

This looks so satisfying Mark i'll definately go there when i go to Taiwan. I first tried this in KLIA2 air port in Malaysia while i was in my long transit. And i buy this meal everytime i transit there. But there isn't any pork pieces like yours. So travellers out there if you want this dish in KLIA2 it's in Level 2 Shop No. 34 I had it as a set meal with smoke plum juice and sweet potatoes fries in total 17. 50RM which is 4. 10. The shop name is Shihlin Taiwan Sweet Snacks. Oh you can only go to this shop and it's building if you only go through the the immigration and luggage claim.

We stayed in Ximending area in Taipei. It's one of thr cheapest hotel in the area. And it went beyond my expectation. The hotel room has complete facilities, from slippers, to hair dryers up to washing machines. Better than the 4-star hotel where I stayed before. Though there was an inconvenience happened, it was all paid out when we started exploring People are nice. When you ask something they will really approach you and if they sense you really need helped, they will really give an effort, which we appreciate a lot. I miss Taiwan already. Four days is not enough. I want to go back.

I don't understand how you miss alot of the places you want to go to and see. Are you not googling and calling ahead to these places? Taiwan is a large city and you should be able to find everything and with it being hi tec there should be no prob. Please invest in 2 umbrellas. :) Do I sound like a mom? Hee Hee
