SUBSCRIBE NOW Watch more Korea food videos On Day 10 of our trip to South Korea, we took a day trip from Jeonju to Buan. After doing some sightseeing, I tried sannakji for the first time, which is a Korean delicacy of live octopus, and had wonderful samgyetang for dinner. If youre just joining this video series, check out my full South Korean food video playlist here: 00: 42 Saemangeum Information Center - Our first stop of the day, once we arrived in Buan, was to visit the Saemangeum Information Center, which is a museum explaining the process of the huge land reclamation. We then headed over to the Buan Silkworm Town - 3, 000 Won (2. 57, and walked around the museum and met some Korean students. 3: 44 Namdosusan Restaurant ) - For lunch we drove near to the ocean and went to a restaurant called Namdosusan Restaurant, well known for the sannakji, or the Korean delicacy of eating live octopus. Along with the octopus, we also each had a bowl of porridge, which was pretty good. The live octopus was very interesting, and it was simply sliced up and topped with sesame oil, and dipped into chili paste before each bite. Porridge - 10, 000 per bowl (8. 58, Sannakji ) - 15, 000 Won (12. 87, Live octopus - 15, 000 Won (12. 87) 7: 00 Naesosa Temple ) - 3, 000 Won (2. 57) - After lunch we drove over to Naesosa Temple, which is another wonderful nature park and temple in the Jeonbuk province of South Korea, and we walked around the temple and nature park for a while. Again, the beautiful nature is what really struck me as amazing. 9: 56 Gyeoseong Samgyetang Restaurant ) - For dinner we went to a restaurant back in Jeoju called Gyeoseong Samgyetang Restaurant ) that specializes in samgyetang, which is a Korean ginseng chicken soup, and it happens to be a personal favorite of mine. The dish is made with a spring chicken, which is stuffed with rice and then cooked with ginseng. This was an amazing dinner to end the day with. Samgyetang - ginseng chicken soup

Is there a reason why you had reggae music playing at the beginning of your video when you were in a Non-Jamaican/ Non-Caribbean country whilst trying an Asian cuisine in an Asian Country? I am baffled I'm not 100% offended, but I do find it inappropriate to do that to their culture. If you were all about food and travel, should'nt you give some appreciation, justice and dignity to their lifestyle, heritage, and culture? J/S I think you should honor the countries that you visit with their native music. I'm just trying to you a positive note. Be more conscientious in your videos and editing. Please note that I am very appreciative of your videos as I have learned quite a lot. You have a beautiful family and I wish the best for you.

It is a good choice to go to Jun ra province. That area is famous for a variety of traditional korean food. And next time if you ahave another chance to come. how about Je ju island? You must be aware of that island. Most of foreigners love Jeju island. I bet you can enjoy its unique and tasty foods.

I can't really seem to tell if something is spicy or not based on what Mark says. There's burning spicy, hot spicy, warming spicy, mild, and then not spicy. Mark doesn't seem to have this range, just spicy or not spicy, and just about everything seems to be not really spicy. Hmm.

Wiens smiles all the time. He must be the most positive guy in the world besides Fernando Alonso. He'll try almost anything without Zimmern's ego-centric encumberances. I didn't like him at first, but his innocence and enthusiasm are infectious.

LOVE your videos. They always make me hungry. The music you played was not a symphony, but rather a JS Bach melody from a cantata. The symphony form was created after his death. Great choice of beautiful baroque music to accompany a great video.
