If you haven t already watched Day 1 and Day 2 of this Anthony Bourdain food tour in New Jersey, make sure you go back and watch them now. Now, let s start Day 3! We spent the night in Atlantic City and then drove first thing in the morning to Barnegat in the pine forest, and then on to Camden to complete this entire food tour. Lucille's Country Cooking - Total price - 19. 89 - First thing we headed to Lucille's Country Cooking for breakfast, a classic New Jersey diner, but in the middle of the pine forests. They served a range of American breakfast dishes and I tried to order the same meal that Anthony Bourdain ate. Tony & Ruth Steaks - Total price - 15. 00 - Next we drove on to Camden, New Jersey and headed straight to Tony & Ruth Steaks. Unfortunately they were still closed due to the Covid situation and only offered takeaway from the window. But that s alright, I still ordered a few sandwiches and then ate them in the car. The bacon and egg sandwich was especially delicious. Donkey's Place - Price - 11 per cheesesteak - Finally for the grand finale of this Anthony Bourdain New Jersey food tour, we headed to Donkey's Place for a Jersey cheesesteak. This was one of the places I was most looking forward to eating in New Jersey on this entire tour. It didn t disappoint, one of the world s best cheesesteaks without a doubt. Quite a bit different from cheesesteaks I ate in Philly. I loved the huge quantity of onions and the poppy seed kaiser roll. It was soooo good, and the perfect way to end this entire food tourl

Mark is the GOAT. He s tens times better that Triple D S with Guy. It s just more personable. He knows how to literally bring you into the food like you re there eating it with him. Not trying to be over cool. He s getting to the food and giving exposure to everyone s business.

IMO South Jersey has the best cheesesteaks. I love the shredded lettuce and tomato in a cheesesteak sub! the added juiciness is divine. I appreciate you addressing the challenges and hardships of Camden in a respectful way. Good people in tough areas all around.

Mark: I want to thank you for the tribute you paid to Anthony Bourdain and the respectful tribute to Camden. You may be the only person out there that was able to succinctly describe the struggle and hope of an area that's long been forgotten. I loved this series.

Mark seems to find anything amazing. Jersey is not known for its steaks. South Philly is where you get the best Cheesesteaks. NJ is decent for Pizza! I really don t trust his opinion on food. some things are correct but lots of his Amazing is made up!

That looked great, never seen a steak sandwich assembled in quite a way like that before. But I think all steak places should do it like that. I wish I was part of your family so I could come along too all these great places.

I really enjoyed watching all three episodes. I miss Bourdain terribly! The only complaint I have is the music used in this video. It was really clunky in my opinion. Again, just my opinion. I just felt like it did not fit.

Modern man is not the man who goes off to discover himself, his secrets, and his hidden truth; he is a man who tries to invest himself in something beneficiary for the future.

That's the Wein's lean I've been waiting to see for awhile it happened at Donkey's Place. You know it had to be good he didn't even notice the chili oil on the table.
