On this Cambodian street food tour in Phnom Penh, Im taking you on a one day tour to eat authentic Khmer breakfast lunch and dinner in a single day. Cambodian Breakfast - 7 am There are plenty of dishes you can eat for breakfast in Cambodia, but nothing is as popular or widely available as a dish called bai sach chrouk, grilled thin strips of marinated pork over broken rice with pickles and soup on the side. Its a simple combination, but a plate for breakfast is extremely satisfying. Price - 3, 500 KHR (0. 84) Cambodian Lunch - 11: 30 am Just outside of Psar Chas (Old Market) in Phnom Penh, youll find an abundance of colorful Khmer street food stall that serve all sorts of grilled river fish, and a huge selection of different dishes to choose from. While most locals get their food for takeaway, a kind lady offered us a seat in front of her house to sit down and eat. It was an amazing and extremely local Cambodian food lunch. The grilled fish and the parhok were my favorite dishes. Lunch

Mark you eat tooo much yet you are not fat. How do you achieve that. Besides you talk too much in all your videos. This is food filming, why not interview the people you buy this foods from and let them do the talking and explanations, while you do the eating. One more thing allow your friend in the video to also talk. the too much talking from you makes your video bored n chocky

So glad that you have fun in my Motherland Cambodia. FYI. anytime you order Prahok it should be served with fresh veggies. eg. egg plan, cucumber, green bean. Yes, this show and shop are taken place in Cambodia but I don't remember we ever had any ant for lunch or dinner. It seems to me another ethnic group preparing these meals reflecting their trademark.

The salty things he said is actually served with fresh vegetables. Cambodians need those with vegetables and rice which make the taste a lot less salty. And the portion he is having is just a bit over limit. Haha. Its cute to see his reaction though. I really appreciate his job. And it could really improve if he actually ask how we eat it.

That was some pretty brave fish eating. I have traveled to Southeast Asia and I am a pretty adventurous eater but probably the least brave when it comes to fish. Thats because I grew up eating the best cooked fish and seafood in the world. Louisiana Cajun cooked fish and seafood.

I willl be in Cambodia next week PP and SR and I am excited to try the Khmer Cambodian street food that you featured on this video. The breakfast meal looks like the Filipino breakfast favorite tocilog, which is tocino (cure or sweetened pork) and rice paired with sunny side egg.

Mark, can you tell me why is street food all around southeast asia sooooo cheap for soooo MUCH food compared to the U. S? Also How come the egg yolks there are more orange than yellow like in U. S? AND this question can be answered by anyone who knows as well. Thanks

Mark I take my hat off to you You travel all over the world and have the ability to not insult these people and their food and how it's prepared. I've watched several of your videos where I know without the shadow of a doubt I would have been beaten. possibly to death

U have no idea how the local eat these types of food. U should not eat in big portion like this. They are fermented and richly seasoned so u need to scoop very little to eat with rice. I know it's gonna be salty even before u take a bit. Hahah. Anyway, great video.

You do such a great job. Would love to hear about tipping in each country. Also I think we would all love to see more of your wife on camera. You work together so I would love to hear her opinions on everything as well. Thank you. Great show.
