I have to agree with Matty, I took my family to visit the Maritimes last summer and my main goal was to find the best Lobster roll out there! It was a toss-up between Edmunston, NB and Summerside, PEI. I had high hopes for Dave's Lobster rolls (my namesake) but alas the winner was JMK fish mart in Summerside! We even hit the 75th lobster fest in Shediac, NB and did not even compare to the first two. Honestly, the Pirate in Edmunston is a super close second especially since it's nowhere near the ocean but every bit an oceanside restaurant, legit!

I went clam digging in PEI about 6 years ago. I think it might've been this boat, to this island. -Best meal I ever had - maybe second, to a good maritime lobster boil. -1 fresh out of the shell, 5 or 6 steamed and a couple random crab pieces (like he said -we'll keep a couple tro' em in da pot-) and I was stuffed. --More people should do this-
