Let me guess these aren't -real- Enough Americans either for Trump I bet? Bitter sweet that they (The Skokomish) sat down and prayed to the Colonizers God before eating though. shows how thorough the barbarity of European invasion and domination was to them as to so many indigenous people across their Continent. Respect to the first peoples from Brooklyn, NYC.

This is awesome! When I was in high school I was fortunate enough to have a school with a aquaculture program where we raised and sained catfish ponds and also took care of tanked fish in a lab. We hatched flounder and converted some to freshwater and released lots of saltwater flounder in a local canal between long beach NC and the intercoastal waterway.

The natives are the number 1 cause to the salmon population drop. They net the entire spans of rivers and will just cut the eggs out of the fish and throw them back in. Even are allowed to do this when recreational fishermen aren't allowed to fish. This has been going on for 40 years time for a change.

Its everyone's responsibility to take care of our natural resources. I'm 43 and I've been fishing since I was little. We all need to pull our heads out of our asses and start taking care of this. It's sad to see the lack of fish and to remember what it was like when I was a kid. Its horrible

Its crazy to think the ones preserving the world the most is the one that people show hate too. We so smart but cant preserve any population of species. Instead we have people using there energy to spread hate.

Wow John Edward Smith has a Maori carving (Teko Teko) in his house. Someone must have gifted it to him on his visit to NZ. Nice to see our different cultures making an influence on each other.

No idea how I've never seen this series. What a fantastic representation of Western Washington. The host is great, the camera and audio and editing are all great. This is a gem of a show.

Lol 10: 20 they use a different species of salmon (Atlantic) than the spawning salmon before. (That salmon (chinook) is not good for eating. That's why they sell it for -1 a fish
