I get some of the hate for this guy I mean he comes across a bit of a douche but hey look at what he's acheived. As for the eggplant debate man not doing yourself any favours. English is a COMPOSITE language, and hence the most powerful, as recognised as the international language of literature. The language has been born out of Celtic, Scandanavian, German, Latin, Spanish, Dutch etc etc. Also, the American -English- is a bastardised version of English, hence mis-spelling colour as color, which was born from lack of education in the colonies and using phonetics rather than the correct, historic spellings. If you wonder why things like through and threw are different it is because they used to be PRONOUNCED differently. Linguistics is an evolutionary process, both nationally and regionally (hence local accents and coloquialisms. Applying the terms -WRONG- to English from a descendent? LMFAO

I know this episode was focused mainly on Abe but I felt that this video should've captured more of the relationship and chemistry between both Abe and Adrienne specifically since they ended up working together but also ended up building this business -Fat Rice-. Of course I know it was Abe's motivation to start this gig but to acknowledge Adrienne's interest to join along his journey and to hear from it would've been more admirable and enjoyable.

Yo that's Hao Jian at 15: 18! Egg, starchy stuff and oysters stir-fried with lard; super unhealthy but oh so wonderful after a long night out. I thought the dude was a little hipster at first, but it's one of those things that you can only try to cook if you've had it and he does a pretty close rendition from what I see. Nice to see some of my hawker favourites being made halfway across the world.

6: 30 - -N-Dive- or -On-Deeve-. -In my opinion this is legit a word you SHOULD pronounce in the french way (-on-deeve-. -Unlike for instance city names. If you say Paris in the french way (-Pahree-, with a silent S, you sound like a dumb snob. -But saying -N-Dive- just sounds wrong. In most of Europe we say -On-Deeve- but we still have local pronounciations of Paris.

Well I'm Greek and I've never heard of that pasta dish from the first restaurant. People are out here marketing pasta with cinnamon and feta as a greek cuisine staple. Meanwhile only the type of pasta they used for the dish is frequently encountered here. Do your reasearch

As a Portuguese American man, I love seeing any version of our cuisine being highlighted because in the states unless your in San Jose, CA or the various places in Mass you just dont see it often. I got way to stoked off of the Sardines at the end.

This chef is legit. I was lucky enough to work under him in one of his summer programs during high school. All this hate in the comments saying -hipster- chef as if it demeans his work. Go taste his food, bet it blows your mind.

Adrienne is one hot chef. Asian man of mystery knocking back the fountain of booze is a hero. Wish I could eat and drink like these guys on Chef's Night Out. but I would be tapping out after the first place.
