Recipe because screw pay walls
for crust
1 1/4 or 155g cup flour
3tbs or 25g powdered sugar
1tsp lemon zest
1/4 tsp sea salt
10tbs or 142g butter
for curd
4-6 lemons
1. 5 cups or 300g sugar
2 whole eggs and 3 yolks
1 1/2 tsp or 5g cornstarch
pinch of sea salt
4tbs or 57g butter
1/4 cup or 60 milliliters extra virgin olive oil
more sugar for dusting

This recipe is very approachable. Something like a lemon bar seems intimidating because you have to worry about a crust and a curd, both of which can be easily messed up. You all made it seem much easier than our minds might think. I'm loving NYT Cooking!

Wish I had the recipe! It looks good and I'd have loved to make it. I have the ingredients, and the time (#Quarantine, just not the recipe. Oh well! It has inspired me to make lemon bars so I will look up a different recipe.

Waiting for my bars to come out of the oven at the moment tasted a bit of the curd and it was amazing so I have a good feeling abt this!

They look delicious however I did find it hard to read the white lettering on a white background and yellow lettering on a yellow background
