I buy Ramen in the multi-cellophane-pack bundles, when I can find them for cheap. usually in the spring to last through summer. for stir-fries, soups, and Noodle Bowls (my favorite, with various raw/steamed veggies. I love your recipe here, it's so adaptable for different proteins. your videos give me so many ideas. I don't remember seeing ramen noodles when I was in college. but, we were still scratching on cave walls, back then.

Holy shit you used a cup of noodles you hack! Just kidding. Great stuff as always Sam. FYI I do similar stuff with raman, cup of noodles, pretty much any quick cooking noodle will work. And to those that complain. not everything can be from scratch. When my 3 year old is overtired and hungry a super quick meal like this is just perfect.

eh i feel like a big appeal when it comes to using ramen noodles is that it's cheap and easy, when you put a bunch of beef in there what's the point in using those cheap ramen noodles? might as well buy a pack of egg noodles or something

You are the Epifimey of Coolness! How quick easy and fairly cheap can you get, Is it 5 star dining no, it's not supposed to be, you could whip this up for lunch off the tail gate while spending the day trout fishing.

I've made a variation of this before but it didn't come out nearly as good looking as yours, or as delicious i'm sure. what are your thoughts of putting an over easy egg on top? is the dish too sweet for that?

Ive made a lot of your meals Sam, and theyre fantastic. I followed this recipe to a T and unfortunately it came out beyond repulsive. Just tasted like ketchup and noodles. Went straight in the trash.

Good recipe, just a little reccommendation for the noodles, it may be a better way if you just hydrate the noodles in water for 10 minutes and then let them cook with the sauce meat and vegetables.

Yea you can do noodles that way in 2 minutes. But the rest of the meal takes longer so you may as well use real ramen noodles in boiling water, they will still be done in time and not be total crap.

If you're not going to use any of the packets and other stuff in the cup o noodles, why not just buy dried noodles (from asian grocery stores? They'd be better quality, cheaper and less waste.
