I was in Toronto or business one week about 10 years ago. I cant say this is the same place but your description is 100% how I remember, so I believe it is. My friend kept telling me that were going get lunch and hes taking me to get the best veal sangwich. Not sandwich, but sangwich. Thats how he pronounced it. He was Italian from Toronto. Dingy place on the corner, no tables, just a line out the door. Hell yes it was worth it. I still talk about it and whenever I have a damn good sandwich, I call it a sangwich.

Dude! Please! You would NEVER have gotten spinach at a Italian sandwich shop at Dufferin and St Clair. It would have been veal sweet or veal hot. The sauce would have been a tomato/red pepper sauce, with or without hot peppers. Im sure the spinach would be OK, but not authentic, and personally I wouldnt enjoy it as much.

Sam, where in San Diego county are you getting your veal from? I live in north county and there is a fine butcher there called Tip Top, have you ever tried them? OH OH OH that is why I originally was posting, WHAT is that round grill looking thing in your outdoor kitchen?

the only thing that bugs me about your video's is that you mix you salt and pepper. some recipes need more pepper then salt, and some need more salt then pepper. but that's just something i could change, i know. i just wanted to let you know. still love you though

This Sandwich looks RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! You should consider an American Southern Version cooked the same way but substitute chicken for the Veal and Collard Greens soaked in the pork juice for the Spinach. Cheese could still be Fresh Mutz! ;)

Now THIS looks delicious! Simple, not over the top with too much ingredients and tastes. No fried egg that's just here for the yolk ooze at the end of the video. And a nice clean build of something you can actually hold in your hand and eat

breaded veal baked in clarified butter served with roasted potatoes, slice of lemon and cranberry jam is the national of dish of austria you could say, it really astonished me to see that almost 50% participating in the poll never had veal

I wouldn't against veal if it were just young cow. Why cant we eat them before they're done nursing and let them live an otherwise normal calf life? Walking around for a couple months cant hurt the flavor too much.

Hey Sam, what about exploring some Japanese cooking to go along with your mayo obsession? Maybe Okonimyaki, Takoyaki, or Yakisoba. Or something different like ramen or Japanese curry? These are my favorites!
