I'd flatten the burger patty more to start. To me, the patty should be almost if not exactly the circumference of the bun. Or, take two 1/6th pound patties and smash burger them. Aside from that, looks great, as usual. I bet you could do this with some good Italian meat sauce, too: fry it up, add mozz and cook it to reduce until it's about this consistency. (Nonstick/anodized pan would be best for that) Taco meat with parm & mozz could work well this way also.

you guys should just do Shorts from now on. That way you can keep all of your videos under 2 mins instead of longer 10 plus minute videos we used to love and enjoy. The quality, content, and duration of your videos have all gone downhill. I miss the days you all had us laughing and enjoying a real masterpiece at the end. Now we have the best this or that burger or burrito in under 5 mins. I tend to tune out for periods of time. Whatever. You do you

i was distracted by the over produced, over edited voiceover video maybe if you went even harder with the quick cuts and added voiceover it would be perfect for tic toks and shorts. but i definitely missed you going live and arguing with the crew. just some honest feedback. maybe if all three of you did the voice over maybe that would be an acceptable alternative

that looks fantastic! It seems I did not dislike this short form video as much as others did, though it did feel a little bit rushed. My guess is that if you re-make this same video 6-9 minutes would probably be the sweet spot to make shorter form videos Love your content either way. Thank you for all the cooking inspiration you've given me.

Yeah, didn't like the voiceover either. Personally I like a 7-9 minute video, not 15, but either way, the voiceover aspect didn't work for me. Didn't seem like the spontaneous interactions and trying to add excitement and emotion to it comes out as 'canned'. Sorry, Sam. We love you and the boys, but this idea was a faleboat.

Please Sam SLOW the F down! We love you cooking and having a great time! This. Isn’t the Sam I wanna see. We fell in love with the Sam in real time. The last 18 months have been playing catch up with your videos. It’s not fun anymore. Just sayin. Bring the old Sam back please.

Well, I'm going to be the rebel and say that I didn't mind the new voice over short video format. I mean I do love the old videos, but sometimes I don't have 15 minutes to spend watching how to make a burger! Don't get rid of the old format, but a few shorter ones wouldn't hurt either.

Hey y'all, hope you are doing well. Love the ideas, Thanksgiving coming up, gotta re-watch your Turkey video. if you spatch cock it DO NOT OPEN the oven and let the steam out, lol, ahh, totally ruined it. I hope you are not working too hard with the new restaurant opened Hiring

Sorry Sam and the boys. I like the older format. Great idea and recipe, but I liked the 15 or 20 min. Vids way better. They are entertaining plus I like the banter and the realism. I'll keep watching, I'm a fan but I thought you might appreciate the feedback. MACA.

Someone commented that this felt soooo rushed but to me it sounds like you had a problem with your mic and had to do a voiceover! Hell I don’t care that it’s different cause this looks soooo damn delicious! Thanks Sam and The Boys!

Hey Max, you fu#! This dumb voiceover cooking you guys are doing now sucks. Go back to live Sam. Yeah, sometimes the sound sucks, but it's more authentic. This BS feels way too scripted and a poor attempt at a food network audition.
reply

Already lots of feedback regarding this video and agree, it's not great.
Videos seem to be getting shorter in general.
They have put out a lot of great content and maybe theyre struggling for new content/recipes etc.

4 years ago, this would’ve been a 20 minute video that would’ve gone through the whole cooking process with mini rants and entertaining conversations in between. This is terrible compared to that. Come on, sam
reply

I could imagine that either the audio was messed up or too much noise in the background. But seems like that is pretty disliked. So probably it would be better to at least communicate why that is lately made that often

You could also make a chorizo patty so its not so sloppy joe'ish. Also lettuce that isnt chopped. Enjoy every bite without the stress off trying to catch strays every time its about to fall on your clothes
reply

Not sure who's decision it was but I greatly dislike the voice over thing. It takes all the personality out of why we watch. If you need to scale back on videos for time we understand, but don't drop on quality.
reply

Sorry not sorry. Hellman's for life! LOL. It is amazing tho how you all can take a thumbnail that basically explains it all and turn it into something worth watching. Honestly you had me at chorizo!
reply

I don’t like the new format where you go back and voice over the video. It’s too ruched and missing that personal Charm of Max correcting Sam on camera. But that burger does look banging.
reply

Sam, instead of saying Kay-So, try saying Kesso. You’ll sound much more legitimate. I'm married to a Latina and learned this tip from her so I didn’t sound like some guy from Topeka KS.
