Today I'll show you how to make lasagna, including my recipe the best bolognese sauce! Brett: Hi Sam, just wanted to drop a little message and say I made this sauce following your instructions and Oh My Friggin God it was all you said it was and more. I didn't use it in a lasagna but rather just topped of some spaghetti with it. Still fantastic. Have enough left over that I'll go full lasagna next weekend. Thank you for taking the time to put these videos together and sharing them with all of us. They really help give those of us with no culinary skills the feelings that even just for one meal, we can all be a world class chef. Brett - Calgary Alberta, Canada

Great sauce an lasagne receipt, Ahm'a try me that sauce out. Don't haveta buy no special made noodles, only add more sauce/hydration/cheeses some to yer layers, they'll cook up jus fine; learned this from a good friend fellow Senoir Cook, early '90's, I was feedin 600-2500 mouths a shift. I love th great vidyas yall put up, so please, take this in th spirit intended, jus sharin a tip/trick; no need to boil traditional lasagne pasta, no need to spend extry on others, as well. Penny saved, etc. See y'all next time! Be safe an well!

My secret to amazing bolognese (or ragu if you want to be pedantic) is add half a tonne of oregano. Then another tonne of oregano. And a pinch of oregano. And then just a little bit of oregano. OK I admit it. I like bolognese with my oregano. I also throw a beef stock cube in and a splash of red wine. Sam, 3: 52 did you see my post on your shakshuka recipe about doing an italian version using left over bololgnese!

I don't like your garlic press it is too complicated, too many little places to clean. Barry Lewis and I figured it out and we got a garlic boat, it is one piece of metal, no moving parts, and stainless steal. So when you wash it you remove the smells from your hands. better yet I got mine off wish for around four bucks. Find one for yourself Sam and change your life. Screw your complicated Garlic press

Just a correction. shakshouka is NOT Israeli. Shakshouka is Tunisian. Israel keeps stealing other people's dishes and calling them theirs because they have no cuisine, sorry but it's real. Go check their israeli food and you'll be amazed of how few original israeli dishes there are. Ps: this comment is purely related to food and I am not here to hate on anyone.

a tip for lasagna lovers i discovered by an amazing accident: use buffalo mozzarella instead of shredded mozzarella its seriously insane and delicious with way more of a satisfying cheese pull! we got it on accident instead of shredded mozzarella and used spread out slices of it for a layer instead; best thing thats ever happened to our kitchen tbh

I made this today (four-and-a-half hours, on my birthday, for my mom and sisters and sister's boyfriend. He shares my birthday. They loved it. He loved the red pepper flakes, and my sister loved the spinach, which I put on top for color. I put in a cup of pinot grigio instead of vermouth. Thanks for this, especially during the quarantine.

I made this for my family last weekend! To save my time(and sanity) I made the bolognese the night before, and only had to assemble everything the next day. It was simply the best thing I ever made. Truly fantastic! Thank you so much, this is the first recipe of yours that I did, and it turned out fabulous

I never tried any of his recipes, but all I can say is that the guy use Japanese mayo when he needs mayo, and solely for that I recognize this man has good taste, so I will believe the shit out of any of his videos, so this weekend, this bolognese is getting a test in my humble kitchen.
