This classic baked Italian sub = the best sandwich ever + it's a super quick & easy recipe to make! Steven: Great selection of meats. In Rhode Island, we pride ourselves with a proper Italian grinder. This is a very high end grinder to say the least. No place around here puts prosciutto on a sandwich. I would lose the sharp provolone and go with a mild provolone so it doesn't overpower the meats. Add lettuce, tomato and a dressing of 75% olive oil, 25% Red Wine vinegar, salt and pepper.

It might be the largest in San Diego but Pittsburgh is the best. that's the right slice, the beauty of all of that oil is right on the bottom. Yummy. I would have toasted the inside of the bun first and then a thin layer of cheese and the pepper sauce. Other than that the same. you gotta get some of that cheese in the bread.

Why would it be in Pittsburgh? Philadelphia has a ton more people of Italian American heritage than Pittsburgh. Hell I think Boston has more also. Split it down the top. stunad. what are you a barbarian or French. J/K we don't do that on the East Coast but it does look pretty.

I just saw that video on my research for other Italian sandwiches. Seems to be good! You should try prosciutto, parmesan, sun dried tomatoes and a little bit of pesto genovese (optional. Maybe add some argula or lambs lettuce. Its my all time favourite sandwich!

Why would you put the wet pickle crap on the bread and make it all soggy before you even start? I quit, I stopped this at 5: 33 sec. Kicked the dog out the back door and going to Sheetz for my Sammy, look it up Max. Its a east coast thing. I love you guys!

You need to come back to Canada (Kingston preferably) and make this for me! Love the show, keep up the good work. Its controversial, but you should do east coast Donairs! Best meat is Donair King, wholesale club sells it, I could send you some.

I love everything you make. I have made several of your dishes and my wife and love every one. I watch your videos then go back and play it again while I write out the recipe including most comments and print then laminate and take home.

Who's got money to spend on meats like that for two sandwiches? Adding all the pepper sauce, is a disgrace to the beautiful prashotto. I would have foiled top then take off for last five minutes, but I guess you like it crunchy

Thats not an italian sandwich. its only an horrible melting pot of italian deliveries by someone who never put their food on Italy, and smelt flavours and tasty sensations inner kitchen of some little italian towns trattoria.

You blew it. The cold cut quality was superb but you went overboard on how much you used. Where's the lettuce onion and red wine vinegar to cut through that salt? Seemed like an unbalanced and super heavy sandwich.
