As a philadelphian we don't like it when people say better than a cheesesteak or when people add their twist and take on it and say it's better. Alot of people talking and never been to philly. Let alone if they did they probably only went to tourist sites which we think are the worst. The Best are obviously the hoods you're not safe in. Then again what do i know ive only tried over hundreds of cheesesteaks outside of philly in over 10 states. So I'm sure sam is the expert

Sam, really love your cooking show and have tried quite a few of your recipe ideas. However, I really do want to see Astro do a guest appearance. I often ponder on what he looks like. Also, I think he would make a fantastic judge for some of your dishes. Please Please Please bring Astro on your show, with permission of his parents of course. Sam, you obviously have never had a true Philly Cheesesteak! Ribeye beats lowly hamburger any day. If you ever come to Philly I will treat you to a Philly Cheesesteak.

As a NYer, I m glad you didn t make this fancy with like short rib or wavy beef. The Chop Cheese sandwich is meant to be affordable and filling!

Being a brooklynite, this made my whole night tbh cause the chopped cheese is a fire sandwich. Has gotten me home after rugby games many times.
