The best thing you can make is the Hot Turkey Sandwich.
Every diner in America sold a hot turkey sandwich.
Leftover turkey, preferably dark meat.
Tear into pieces. Warm up in gravy.
Put 2 slices of white bread on a plate. Put your now hot turkey on the bread. Pour hot gravy over turkey and some mashed potatoes. Serve with a side of some sort of vegetable.
Before Turkey lunch meat was the quality it is now, restaurants roasted whole turkeys for the turkey breast that they used on sandwiches. This is what they did with the leftover turkey. When coldcut turkey improved in quality, (80s, restaurants stopped cooking whole turkeys and the HTS went away.

This made me Laugh I’ve been wanting to know your take for a while on the Thanksgiving Burrito for a while. You inspired me a few years ago. And I created my own Thanksgiving Burrito. (Based on my leftovers) Turned out great. So much so, I created the Thanksgiving Pot Pie the following year.
The Thanksgiving Moist Maker Burrito filled expectations! Please keep doing what you’re doing, and thanks for the inspiration!

I am thinking I will be trying some version of that with whatever leftovers I have. I am just one person and I am having a turkey tenderloin, dressing, and I am not totally sure exactly what else I will have. But I will make a leftovers burrito! I already have some burrito tortillas. Happy Thanksgiving to all at STCG!

Hey Sam/guys! There's a recipe right up your alley. Restaurant in Knoxville called Calhouns has an amped up creamed spinach called spinach maria. Give it a try. Been making it for years and always requested for holiday meals. I'd love to see your take on it.

I love getting the turkey subs fully loaded at WAWA- (it's a gas station type with an eatery on the East Coast. that burrito looks awesome, this year I'm making my very first Duck. I'm on a Sailboat which i call home and make do with my off grid way of life.

You need to make our family favorite. It's a Thanksgiving egg roll. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce and gravy for dipping. Deep fry and enjoy! You can also make a bunch up and freeze them for later. But ours never last that long.

We make a leftover pizza every year. Homemade dough, gravy for sauce, little melon ballers of stuffing, the same for mashed potatoes and green beans casserole, shred some turkey a little cheese if you like and BAM! Thanksgiving leftover pizza. It's AMAZING!

A coup, le of years ago you made this in the sandwich form and it was mmm mmm good! But this, this makes way more sense mainly because it is such a stuffed creation! Thanks Sam, happy holidays to you Max, Chance and Louis!

Waiting on when Babish sends you a Cease and desist notice for making a TV themed recipe. LoL
That poor tortilla was 3/4 empty, not grilled till it sealed and you live in SoCal- kinda embarrassing. Better luck next time.

I'm doing a Cajun country version of this burrito. fried turkey, rice dressing, smothered green beans, red/white beans, seafood dressing, collard greens, sweet potato casserole, and baked macaroni. Look the eff out!

If you had to bring one knife camping with you for cooking, what would you suggest This will be a Christmas gift to a really good friend of mine who goes camping, but complains about knives.

When ever I get a craving for Thanksgiving cuisine, I got to this sub shop called Cappriotti's and order The Bobby sandwich. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce. I always have to ask for mayo tho. But it's amazing.

OMG, what a fabulous idea for leftovers! My version will definitely have home made mac and cheese on it. down here in the South, homemade mac and cheese is a SACRED Thanksgiving Dish!

Sam, the best way to crisp a burrito is to pop it into the air fryer after you roll it. Leave it in for 3-5 minutes, depending on how crisp you want it. Try it, I think you'll like it.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts are something else. Something else that should be left out of something like this or just plain left off the plate while we're at it. Can you tell I'm not a fan

I still use the Best Fking Stuffing ever recipe you made a year ago! It's still my favorite and continue to use it today as it made my family that hated Stuffing before, now love it
