guys, here's a little tip for the traditional long pieces of prawns you see in the japanese restaurants. make a few slits on the body of the prawns, where the legs of the prawns are at, by doing so, the prawn wont curl onto itself due to it's natural shape of the protein

Shrimp turn pink when they're cooked because they have a pigment in them that is normally wrapped in protein. When you cook it, the heat-unstable proteins unfold and reveal the heat-stable pigment. I think this also applies to lobster and crab.

broad beans (fava) have a similar texture ( if using young beans) though a slightly diffrent taste. You could also go for a fresh spring pea. if you dont like greens at all you could go for chickpeas or prepared lenteils.

a saucepan with oil works fine! you've just got to watch the temperature closely. if you need more help, i'd suggesting looking up deep frying with a saucepan or something similar, you should find loads.

Teach Barry how to remove the stone from an avocado! Push the stone away from the back end of the knife, don't pull it from the front. he will cut his fingers wide open!
Great recipe boys!

the me in the end of edamame is pronounced meh. My favourite snack. Other than that this looks so quick healthy and delicious. Will definitely try it.

When my mum makes tempura, she doesn't use all sparkling water, she uses mostly beer, like Sapporo or Tiger, it gives the batter a really nice flavour.

I dont like prawns, but that salad looks so good! What would you suggest to serve with the salad? Maybe some fried fish instead of the prawn?
